It had been a couple of weeks since I had sent out the letters to David and Christian, and in those passing weeks she finally stopped being a bitch too Roman and actually got to know him. He wasn't so bad when he stopped overstepping.
She actually really enjoyed his company and finding now that he was working a double and her girlfriends had gone out with their boyfriends, she was actually a little lonely. Checking the time on her phone she stood slipping her slides on before leaving her apartment to go check the mail.
Opening up her little small box she grabbed everything out of it going through the envelopes before coming across one that was addressed to her. Making sure she locked her mailbox she started walking back to her apartment, when she made it she made sure she locked it before opening up the letter.
Sitting down on the couch her eyebrows bunched up together as she read:
Dear Willa,
Thank you for writing me after all of these years, it's nice to hear from you. I'm truly sorry to hear that asshole cheated on you. He truly didn't deserve you if he didn't see how amazing of a person you are. I am doing great, I did attend and Graduate from University of Alabama, I am really surprised you remember that's where I wanted to go, it means a lot. I am married now my wife Alicia and three kids now, Jordan is Thirteen, Jayla is Twelve and Jayden is Two.
I'm a doctor now and live in the Southside, If you ever come down if your still in Georgetown you should reach out we can meet up.
I just want to say the only reason I broke up with you that summer after school let out was because we were suppose to move and you know goodbyes were never really my thing, But by the time it got around my dad's job cancelled the transfer, and when I went to tell you at your house I chickened out because I figured you hated me for the way I did it. I should have never broken up with you through text Willa and that I am truly apologetic for. I wasn't the perfect boyfriend for you, I could have been ten times better and Alicia has shown me that. She has taught me a lot of things the younger me just didn't know and my willingness to learn and be better is all thanks to the girl I loved in sixth grade.
It was really great to hear from you Willa and I pray that you move on from the guy quickly because he truly did not deserve you at all. if you ever need to talk you can reach out, I'm always here to listen to you Willa Jackson.
Live your life to the fullest Willa don't this this set back stop your momentum. Come back and come back hard just like I know you can, you are very resilient. I'm proud of you no matter what.
Take care of yourself,
Love David.
By the end of the letter she was wiping the tears off her face, she couldn't believe that he really replied to her. She was glad that he found someone who loved him. She put the Letter down on the table before standing and going to her room. she wasn't going to cry anymore.
Grabbing some clothes out of her closet, she didn't care what it was or if it matched. She was going to have her comeback and she wasn't going to let the ever persistent Alex stop her from getting what she wanted, and in that moment it was Roman.
On an impulse decision she grabbed her car keys and her phone before leaving her apartment quickly and locking up, Speed walking down to the garage and to her car. Completely oblivious to the group of men who were coming up behind her.
By the time she realized it, it was too late as she was grabbed and pulled backwards. "Get off of me!!!!" she screamed trying to fight but it was to many of them.
"HELP! SOMEBODY HELP ME!!" She cried out as she was threw into a white van that was waiting for them. she had managed to drop her keys and her phone before they put her into the van. Her only way of getting potential help. She was blindfolded and tape was put over her mouth before she was knocked out unconscious.
Willa woke up groggily her head pounding from being hit so rough, she whimpered out in pain, as she had been blindfolded and tied up for what seemed like hours. Her hands behind her back had her scared and freaked out, she didn't know who would want her, she had little to now significance to anyone. Feeling the van sway side to side as they slowed down, she couldn't only assume that they had made it to her final destination.
Nobody spoke to her or to each other, at least none that she could hear. The only attention she had was when the back doors opened and she was dragged out, being lead blindingly somewhere, she cried out for help as much as she possibly could. She could only hope someone would realize that she was gone and would come looking for her.
