*Max*

What an idiot. That kid is gonna love this party. I can feel it. Ha. Scarlett and I have been planning this for weeks since we found out from the fortune tellers that we're getting a new special. We are the best and nobody is going to take that from us. Especially not some new dude from California. Dr. Cook doesn't know any of this. He thinks we're all friends. I'm not gonna lie. Aiden's kinda cute but that's not gonna make me feel bad for killing him.

I met up with Scarlett at her locker. She looked up at me and took one of her headphones out and started walking with me, "Did you convince Aiden to go?"

I shrugged and grinned, "I think so." She clapped twice and her mate, Blake, met up with us and held her hand as we all walked down the halls.

I turned the corner just in time to slam into the chest of another. I looked up to see Aiden standing there. His eyebrow cocked up. Had he heard me? Surely not. Well, shapeshifters do have very good hearing. I guess Scarlett heard my thoughts running through because she cleared her throat, "Sorry Aiden. I'm sure Max didn't see you there." He nodded and his eyes flashed from brown to all black as he smiled. He looked a little intimidating, nothing I couldn't handle though. He smiled down at me and cleared his throat, "No worries dude." He had been slightly laughing to himself this entire time and I guess Blake noticed.

"Aiden, right? May I ask what's so damn funny?" Aiden looked at Blake and lowered his voice, "come here." We all followed him down the hall by the gym where all the boys were playing basketball. We looked at him confused and he pointed at the players so we all turned our attention to them. I felt something hit my back and looked down to see the shirt that Aiden was wearing today on the floor. Right next to his... pants? I looked up and saw a skinny blonde girl with a cut off shirt and short shorts on with sandals. My eyes widened and then Scarlett and Blake turned around did the same.

"A-aiden?" I stuttered. The girl nodded as the eyes went from black to brown. He even had the girly voice when he spoke, "Yep. Now watch." He strutted into the gym and walked across the court to the coach and said something and all the boys were practically drooling over him. That's so weird to say. As he turned back to walk away he took the ball from a player and did a front flip and shot the ball. Making it in the hoop perfectly.

He may be a little harder to beat than I had thought at first. Scarlett heard me and said, "No shit Sherlock. He seems pretty damn skilled." I just nodded as my response along with Blake. We watched as he turned the corner to meet up with us again. He was laughing his ass off as he told us to turn around. We did as we were told and we heard him pick his clothes back up. "You can turn back around now." We all turned around as he pulled his shirt down over his stomach that was covered with scars.

"Aiden? What's with the scars all over your stomach?" His face went from a smile to a frown. "It's something that I was born with. I'm not sure."

With that he walked away, "I'll see you guys later."

I looked at Scarlett, "Could you hear what he was thinking?" She shook her head. "Something is different about him. Like even weird for the specials."

What's that supposed to mean? I mumbled to myself, "We'll get you Aiden Jones. No matter how special you are."
