*Aiden*

I stood in his office staring at him in disbelief. Did he just seriously say that? was he bluffing? he raised his brows at me.

"So it's true. You are indeed rouge." He was serious.

I nodded. "How did you know?" He shrugged. "You're a very readable young man. You may choose not to believe me but it's true. Your actions reflect those of rouges I've met in the past. I gulped loud and brushed my hair back. All he did was set his glasses on the desk beside him.
I looked at him scared. "Are you going to kick me and Emerald out now or try to kill us or something?"
He shook his head 'no'. "As long as you don't become a threat to the students at this house your secret I safe with me."

I looked at him in disbelief. Nobody has every made this deal for me before. They usually kick me and my sister to the curb. Or make death threats to us. Or both at once. Those are the hard ones. I gulped once more before nodding my head and reaching for the door knob. Before I opened the door I turned back around to look at Mr. Smith, "Thank you sir."
He looked up from his computer screen and looked extremely surprised at what I just said. "No problem Aiden."
With those last words I slowly clicked the door open and walked out into the large circular living room. I looked at the front door which was mostly made of glass and saw something moving around outside. I went to open it when I felt something fly and cling to my leg. I looked down to see Emerald.

"Aidy? what are you doing?" she looked at me with her big brown eyes. "Nothing Emmy. I thought I saw something." I looked back up at the door to see someONE staring in at me and Emerald. I told her to go color me a picture to hang on my wall. Once she got off of me and ran back into the kitchen I walked slowly to the front door. As I was reaching for the door I heard a small voice. 'If you're going to open the door please disguise yourself.' I snapped my head around and saw a tall brown haired boy staring at me. "Who are you?" I asked while staring at him.
"I'm Zeke. I'm sure you've herd about me." He smiled and I just nodded. The figure on the door never moved. Zeke pointed at the door and I nodded. Backing up a little I turned into Mr. Smith and reached for the door. "May I help you?" I saw a boy. About my age I think.
He smiled and nodded. "Yes. I need to speak to Aiden. I froze on the inside. "Aiden Jones?"
He nodded his head.

"May I ask why?"
He shrugged. "Need to give him a word. From his dad."
That's impossible. Emerald and I never met our father. He left us. When we were babies. I looked at the boy confused this time, "That's impossible. Aiden and his sister never knew their father."
He shrugged. "All I know is that I've been searching for them for the past week to tell them this."
It's a trap. He's a rouge that's trying to kill us. "I'm sorry but Aiden and Emerald are not here at the moment. I can give them your message If you'd like."

He scowled. "That's not gonna work. So Aiden, stop being a bitch, change back to true form and come out here like a big boy."

I gulped and tried to shut the door. He stopped it with his foot. 'Zeke help me.' I felt a hand on my shoulder. "Mr. Smith Aiden's pissy upstairs because I went in his room. You need to make him stop."

The kid at the door had wide eyes as he spoke. "I-I'm so sorry sir. Please pass on the message to Aiden. My apologies."

I nodded and turned back to my real form and locked the door.
"Thank you."

"No worries. I don't believe we've officially met. My name is Ezekial Axel Lyez, mind reader. Call me Zeke."

I looked at him and smiled, "Aiden Zire Jones, shape shifter."
He nodded, "Nice to meet you."

I nodded and shook his hand that was extended to me.
I kinda like this kid. Despite the fact he ransacked my room. With that I turned to walk back to my room. As I put my foot on the first step to walk upstairs I turned my head towards Zeke, "Thank you again." He looked over to me and smiled sweetly and nodded. There's something familier about him. I just don't know what it is. I know him. I know I do. I think.
