What's this?! Nani?! A surprise update? Yes. Yes, indeed 🥳. To everyone who cares enough to read this, I deeply appreciate you as humans. Here's the third chapter, I'm currently editing Chapter Seven of this 12 part book. Not going to lie, I'm content with it, but I still have yet to give it that extra factor that I really love in books. I think the problem is that I don't know what exactly that factor is lmao.
I'm a book aficionado and lover of English Literature, it's too bad I have a tendency to rush things and write on my phone, otherwise I might actually write a chapter without a single grammatical or other type of error 🤣.
Anyways, that's my piece. Catch you fellow gaybies later!

-CHAPTER THREE-
To the Girl Who Came BackIt's been a couple weeks since Emery kissed me, and everything has seemed to have gone back to normal.
The two of us are still the best of friends and, luckily, Margaret has yet to come confront me about anything. It's Tuesday morning and I'm strolling through the halls to my locker where I find Emery waiting for me.
Her hair is up in a messy bun, wavy wisps framing her face in the most perfect of ways. Her sea green eyes glimmer as they land on me and she has a kind smile on her face, dimples out on full display in the way I've always loved.
What can I say, I'm a lover of art and she's a masterpiece crafted by God.
"Hey" she says, smiling sweetly at me as I reach my locker and begin inputting my combination.
"Hey" I greet back, smiling in return.
"You won't believe what happened yesterday after school!" She voices animatedly, seeming to be extremely excited about whatever it is that happened.
"What happened?" I inquire grinning at my crazy friend, I can't help but feel intrigued.
"Reggie Halloway invited me to a party, and said I could invite a plus one!" She explains excitedly.
Oh no, not a party..
At seeing my unaffected expression she grabs my hands and looks into my eyes pleadingly. I look away, not wanting to give in, knowing that if I stare into my best friend's eyes any longer I'll say yes. At my action, she squeezes my hands, causing me to meet her gaze again.
"Fine." I give in and avert my gaze, returning my attention to my locker.
Sometimes I really don't like the affect she has on me.
"Yaaaayyy! We're going to have so much fun, just you wait! It's going to be tomorrow so we're going to go shopping to find perfect outfits." She expresses, not releasing my hands.
I remove my hands from hers and sigh, "yay" I say sarcastically.
"C'mon, I'll make sure you'll have fun." She nudges me playfully, beaming at me.
I can't help but smile back at my beautiful friend.
I run a hand through my hair and nod in acknowledgement at her words not completely believing it.
