* 2 months later* Ryan POV So today is the final game. I'm so fucking pumped yo me and the team been practicing for this moment for weeks. We're going up against Northview Academy we haven't played them yet I heard they were good but we're better fasho. As soon I was finished my hygiene routine and shit I made way down stairs. As soon as I hit the bottom step I heard surprise. My mom and dad had went and got me a cake and some new sneakers for the game today.
Ryan- Thanks y'all didn't have to do this.( going over hugging his mom and dad)
Mom- we wanted to, to show you that we're proud of you and all that you accomplished this far
Dad- yeah man I proud of you let's whip some ass tho show them who boss

After we finished talking and eating breakfast I gave everybody a hug ,making my way out the door and Into my Porsche. I was bumping to music when I got a phone call.

Kayla(Ryan girlfriend) - Hey baby , you excited for today ?

*ARRIVING AT PRACTICE* Coach - Okay guys , come sit on the floor right in front me.
Everyone went over and sat down. Coach gave us a speech letting us know that it isn't a i in team and that we should work together to make our plays flow and take this game home. In hour everyone should be arriving I can't wait I'm pump to see what happens today.
CHANEL POV So today truth wants me to come with him to see his little brother play ball. This will be the first time I'm going to a basketball and could possibly meet his family. So I just woke up and now I'm trying to deciding what I'm going to wear so I can get ready. After I put on my tennis . Truth text me and told me he was outside. I grabbed my purse left my mom a note and left out getting in the car.

*Arriving at the game* It is so crowded in here. It was kinda flaring up my anxiety but I pushed that to the side and focused on enjoying myself. As we were making our way to a seat I saw people waving to truth to come over to where they were. He grabbed my hand and led me over to them. To my surprise it was his mom , dad and sister. I immediately got nervous I can't believe I meeting his family for the first time.
Truth- mom , dad , india This is my girlfriend Chanel.
Truth (mom)- hello it's so nice to put a face to the person my son is always talking about .
Chanel- hi its so nice to meet you guys ( going over and hugging them)
Truth (dad)- Son you did a good job respectful and beautiful.

We were told to take our seats and we did as told. They announced the team they were playing. We cheered our for Jarell team as they all came out to the field. Then the other team came out we cheered to be team players.
* The game* The game has been going on for the last 30 mins and it's keeping me on my toes. North view was winning but the star player on the other team is real good. As I continued to watch the game I kept looking at jersey number 1 he looked so familiar to me. But I couldn't pin point it so I just kept watching shaking the feeling. But the feeling would come back and it was strong as if I had a connection to him and some type of way. I just continued to watch as I started to have flash backs of child hood. Then I started to recognize his face. I tapped truth and told him that's my brother as I broke out in tears . I got up to go to the bathroom and clean myself up . When I came back it was intermission so I decided to go get something to drink with Truths little sister. As I was walking up to the stand I bumped into someone and when I turned around to apologize we came face to face . In this moment all I could do was look at him.
RYAN POV I was walking over to my girlfriend to talk to her while we're taking a break and some girl bumped me , which pissed me off but she was a female so I was going To let it slide but she turned around ad if I did it on purpose. So I turnt around and face was so familiar all I could do was stare. Then it came to me this is my sister. Fuck her man all those times I wanted her to be at games and to be with me she was never there I don't even care about her no more man. I went to turn around and walk away.
CHANEL POV He turned around to leave and I didn't understand why. So I yelled out his name.
Chanel- Ryan where are you going ?
Ryan -Away from you man
Chanel- Why , Ryan I've missed you can we talk?
Ryan - FUCK NO where were you when I needed you the most.
Chanel- ( tears running down here eyes ) I was trying to find you I promised I never stop thinking about u .
Ryan -( turning around with tears in his ) Man stop lying to me and yourself. ( walking away leaving her there )
