The lie wasn't intentional.
"If we don't do something, everyone will perish."
No one wanted to go through with it.

But it was our only choice for survival.

I couldn't just let everyone die.

And I couldn't let anyone else feel the guilt.

It was suppose to fix everything temporarily.
