Luqi: The Full Story

The First Meeting

Side note before reading: In this part, Yuqi is Yugi, in Korean.

[Lucas POV]

"Alright, so would you like to be on a variety show, Knowing Bros?" asked my manager. "Their production crew wants to cast you as a guest for one of their episodes."

"Sure, I guess. Is the whole group going?" I have seen a few episodes, and it's quite funny. I know I needed a few jokes for the show.

"Unfortunately, only you were invited. Apparently they wanted a Foreigners v. Koreans theme, and they didn't want the whole group of one band be in the show."

"Oh well. I guess I will still go though." 

"Alright, so I will email the production crew that you will be going, right?"

"Yea"

"Ok I'm going to email them now then." My manager walks to his office. Our schedule hasn't been a little lighter lately, which is probably why my manager allowed me going to a show. Gotta start practicing and create jokes then. I head back to my room and start brainstorming ideas...

Meanwhile.... 
[Song Yuqi POV]

"Knowing Bros show's production crew would like to invite you onto their show, Yuqi. Would you like to go? Your schedule is free during the filming if the show. According to the email, there will be a foreigners vs. Koreans game in the episode. I would assume you would be on the foreigners team since you are from China." 

I thought about it. That would be cool. I love that show, and now I get to be part of it? Nice! "I will go . One question though, is the rest of the group not going, or is it me, Minnie, and Shuhua vs Soyeon, Soojin, and Miyeon?" I told my manager. 

"Well, you were the only one invited to the show. The rest of the group did not receive invitations to go to the show." I felt bad for the rest of the group.

"Ok then. When does the filming take place?" I asked.

"The episode will start filming around July. There will be a plane that will take you there tomorrow."

"Ok, thanks!" I told my group about the filming. I told them that I wasn't happy that they weren't going, but I really wanted to be on the show. They say its ok, and that they were going to watch the episode once it came out. I packed my suitcase and got ready for the filming.

[Lucas POV]

"Manager!" I called out running after him.

"Yes?" He turns around.

"I forgot to ask you, what time is the filming?" 

"Oh, it's in July. The airplane will be leaving in 3 days."

"Ok, thanks" I ran to my group mates to tell them about the news. I told them that I was the only one going, and not the whole group. They tell me to not get roasted on the show because they won't be there to protect me. Wow, what  supportive group mates I had!I went to the dance studio in our daily group dance practice, while brainstorming funny jokes...

4 days later

"Hello everyone" as I opened the door to the makeshift classroom in the studio. "I am Lucas Wong from NCT" everyone claps

"Welcome Lucas!" said the MC.

Then the other guests came in, one by one. There were 4 guests, including me. But one of the guests caught my eye. I looked at her name tag. Song Yugi(Korean). Never heard of her before. But she was so beautiful...

[Song Yuqi POV]

I nervously went inside the studio. There were 4 rooms inside the poorly lit studio. I could hear other people speaking, yet I didn't know where it came from. I peeked inside one of the rooms.. it was pitch black with nothing inside. Hmm... strange.. did I go to the wrong place? I am pretty sure I went to the right place though. I know I was bad at locating things. But could I have really went into the wrong building? I went to the next room. Luckily it was brightly lit. I opened the door and went in. 

"Hello everyone, I am Song Yugi from (G)I-dle. Nice to meet you all!"

"Welcome Song Yugi!" said the MC. 

I noticed one of the guests were glancing at me. I read his name tag. Lucas. I looked at his face. Wow, his face is so attractive. The guests all introduced ourselves, and we started sharing stories. During the story-telling, I couldn't help but noticed how attractive Lucas looked when he speaks and laugh. Once he was done with his story, I saw him glancing at me. Why is he looking at me? Did he catch me looking at him? Can he read my thoughts?

[Lucas POV]

Damn, Yugi's eyes were so cute. During the break, I used my phone to search her up. Her chinese name is Song Yuqi. Nice to know. Maybe I might talk to her in Chinese later. After the break, I noticed she kept looking at mean with her cute eyes while I was doing whatever I was doing. When I was doing my poses that I used to get through my audition with, she looked so impressed. I hope she was impressed in her mind as I think she is with her facial expression. 

[Song Yuqi POV]

OMG, Lucas looks so sexy when he did those poses! When he was done, I was so interested in him, that I didn't even know it was my turn. I did a Chinese dance, and to my suprise, Lucas HYPED MY DANCING!!! OH MY GOD I NEED TO GET HIS NUMBER LATER! He did his 'NCT Dance' after me. I hope he won't mind this. I joined him dancing. He didn't mind, luckily. 0Next, we shared embarrassing situations. Oh god. I didn't want to share this. I split my pants when I tried to do a split in elementary school. But, after I shared it, I learned that Lucas used to go to the bathroom a lot in school because he wanted to look at how good he looked. How cute! He has so much self-confidence! Next, we played a word game. At the end, it was me vs the last member of the show. I didn't know the answer, but LUCAS HELPED ME BY TELLING ME THE ANSWER IN MY EARS!!! We ended winning the game thanks to that answer. 

[Lucas POV]

Damn, she's been looking at me with her cute eyes the whole show, did she notice I was looking at her? She joined me when I did my dance. She dance so angelically... Next, we shared embarrassing moments. When it was my turn, I didn't want to say this. I went to the bathroom a lot while I was in school because I wanted to look at how great my face looked. Oh no, what if she thinks I'm too cocky if I say this? In the end, someone guessed it. Next, we played a word game. We (Foreigners Team) knocked out most members of the show members team. During the second to last round, I got out. It was down to Yuqi and a show member. She looked stuck, and since it looked hard, I helped her, and I told her a answer. She said it, and we won! We celebrated together and one of the show members had to get showered with water. After the show ended, I asked Yuqi for her number. She happily gave it to me. Oh wow! Maybe I came in too strong...

[Yuqi POV]

After the show ended, and we were saying our goodbyes, Lucas ASKED FOR MY NUMBER! I happily gave it to him, and we left for the airport. I GOT HIS NUMBER! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!
