Alice

"Three tickets for The Hunt, please." I slid the cash through the glass window opening, which the guy on the other side of it takes and tosses into the register.

He prints out three tickets before sliding them towards me, giving me an annoyed smile, "enjoy the movie." He grumbles as we walked away.

I hand Luke and Liliana their tickets, "this better be good, I don't want to be dragged into another boring ass movie." Liliana whines, pushing her wavy brown hair behind her ear.

"No movie is good enough for you Ms. Chavera, you are the largest movie critic of all time." Luke butts in, this only causes Liliana to roll her eyes.

"Forget it, I'm sorry I have better taste than you two dorks."

I shook my head as I opened the doors of the movie theatre with both Luke and Liliana behind me. Both of them are my best friends, though all three of us are very different. There wasn't anything wrong about a variety of different friends, we all cared for each other so that is what mattered most of all.

"This is about having fun Lili, let's go enjoy ourselves before our spring break ends okay?" I try to convince, giving her an assuring smile.

She flails her arms up for a moment, "we could be doing something so much better than a movie!!!" She exclaims.

Luke nods, "like wine and cheese tasting! Or-" before he can continue, Liliana slaps his arm, causing him to howl out of laughter.

"Forget it, let's go watch the movie." She crosses her arms over her chest, as we make it over to the snacks.

I rest my hand against her back, smiling, "you know we are kidding Lili...we love you just the way you are."

She rolls her gray eyes, shaking her head, "yeah, yeah, I know...but coming this summertime...we are doing some things I want to do."

She picks up a large popcorn from the heating rack, Luke immediately dug his hand into it, taking a handful of popcorn. This caused Liliana to glare his way, "these are for the movie jackass."

Luke tossed some popcorn in his mouth, giving her a toothy grin, "I'm paying for snacks which means I can grab as much, and eat it when I want."

Luke and Liliana were always in some kind of feud, but it was all out of jokes. Liliana has always been sort of bossy and a drama queen, but that was something we loved about her. On the other hand, Luke was the complete opposite. He has always been laid back, and one thing I definitely knew about him...he loved to push people's buttons. Liliana had several buttons in fact, meaning she was his number one target.

As we make it up to the concession stand, I grabbed a couple boxes of candy for all of us. Luke pulled out his wallet and proceeded to pay, "Ali, look it's your crush!" Liliana said abruptly, causing me to direct my attention to the place she stared.

She was right, Ashton Irwin.

I remember a couple years back, I was with Luke and Liliana at a local bowling alley, Ashton happened to be the row next to us. I hardly paid attention to the scores or anything, I was too focused on Ashton. Liliana picked up on it quickly, Luke however still doesn't have a clue to this day.

Ashton was by the soda machine, talking amongst his friends, one of them being Calum Hood, "look Lili, it's your ex boyfriend standing right next to him." I teased.

She groaned, "I know, didn't need to point it out."

"Is this the first time you've seen him since the break up?" I asked, leaning against the counter.
