"Jenny? Jenny?" A soft, female voice from the phone was heard. There was a lot of noise but, they could definitely hear her loud and clear. "Oh, my God! Jenny! I'm here! I'm safe!"

Both Jenny and Hans' jaws dropped open. The latter took the phone and spoke.

"Oh, my God! (F/N)!" Hans almost yelled.

The other (F/N), on the other hand, was beyond terrified.

"(F/N), where are you?!"

"Hans? I'm safe! I'm,..."

Some rustling noises could be heard once more. All three of them in the living room waited anxiously as they looked at each other in terror.

As amazing as it sounds, an unbelievably incredible phenomenon was happening right before them, of the past reaching out to contact the future,...

... and of two distinct, yet similar, personalities finally  getting to speak with each other.

And, who knew what else?

A few seconds later, they heard a low, female voice coming from the other line.

"Can you hear me?"

"Loud and clear." Hans answered.

"I believe our friend may have already told you about me."  The woman said. "My name is Hange Zoë, Section Commander of The Scouting Legion."

Hans' eyes widened in both shock and surprise. He was actually talking to his past self!

His past female self!

"And your name is?"

"Hans. Hans Zoë."

Silence. Some murmurs could be heard from the other side, until Hange spoke once more.

"I also believe our friend is safe?"

"Yes, she is. She is,... super strong!"

Hange's chuckle was heard. "Well, yes, she is. Levi was the one who trained her."

At the sound of that bastard cheater's name, both (F/N) and Hans gasped.

"Miss Hange? If you don't mind me asking, does Erwin exist there, too?"

"Erwin Smith is our Commander. The Head of the Scouting Legion."

"I don't believe this!" Jenny muttered, snatching the phone from Hans' hands. "Miss Hans, or Hange, your friend arrived here using a device or a portal of some sort, which enabled her to transport from the past to the future. We must know how it works to bring the two back to their own timeline!"

"Umm, pardon me for a minute,..." Hange asked, then went out once more, making Hans slap Jenny on the back of his head.

"Idiot! Miss Hange just lagged at the weird things you just said!"

Jenny rubbed his head and spat back at Hans. "Well, she's the one who got here! Not our (F/N). So, they must have a fair idea what's really going on - !"

"Yes, it seems there was a portal somewhere just close to the outskirts of Wall Rose." Came in Hange's answer a few unexpected moments later.

Hans took the phone back and spoke to her. "Have you found it?"

"Not yet. As of the moment, our Commander, the Captain, and your (F/N) are listening to our conversation. We are deciding how to execute the search and study for this portal without,..."
