A little bit of pressure

The road

~two months later~

I ran as fast as I could without dropping my duffle bag. I was going full speed, trying to shake these rouges off my trail. I had accidentally hit a female wolf who was a part of their group. Well it's her fault for trying to steal from me.

I looked in front of me and saw the road was about to end. I quickly jumped the fence and looked back. I quickly came to a halt and saw that they stopped on the other side of the fence. The leader had changed back and was standing there smirking at me. I let out a low growl and heard an even louder growl come from behind me. I began to run as fast as I could.

The pounding of their paws got louder and louder as more wolves joined them in the chase. I could tell it was an official pack by how organized they were when trying to catch me. I was jumping over them and dodging every attack they threw at me. Out of nowhere something huge jumped in front of me. I tried to leap over it, though it really didn't work out. I fell and did my best to run away.

"Stop!" Commanded who I think is the alpha. I had my back to him. I started running again, this time I was being chased by just the alpha. -_-" Stupid alpha did he think his alpha tone worked on me?

I was getting bored with this. I looked up and noticed I was about to collide with a big rust colored wolf. I turned and kept running only to meet another wolf. Darn I was being cornered. With only a few feet before crashing into a medium sized dark brown wolf, he changed into human form, I skidded to a stop.

"Your not a rouge." He said as he reached out to touch me. A loud growl rumbled through the forest. I froze then the smell of food hit me. I looked past the boy and into the forest. There was nothing to be seen but trees though I knew there was a town hidden in the forest. "We live there. Are you hungry?" The boy changed and started walking toward the town. Behind us a loud growl scared all the birds. I ignored the alpha and followed the boy.

I had followed the boy to this mansion surrounded by a few regular houses. The mansion was huge, it was an old, yet newly designed house. So this was what a pack house looked like. I walked into the house in my wolf form and the boy showed me to a free room with a bathroom. He closed the door as he left, I quickly changed back into human form and locked the door. I walked into the bathroom and took a quick shower. As soon as I stepped out I heard yelling coming from down stairs. I changed, into a pair of dark skinny jeans and a tight black t-shirt, I ran down stairs, in black Adidas shoes.

I stopped two steps short and looked at the scene before me. The alpha (I assume) was being held back by two other guys. And across from them was the boy who brought me here. Suddenly the alpha broke free and lunged towards the the boy. I jumped in front of him and kicked the Alpha in the stomach. He flew backwards and crashed threw a wall.

"Looks like we need a new Beta!" Said a short girl with long black hair. She walked over to him and helped him up. He kissed her then turned to me.

"You can't stay here. The alpha will be very upset to find out we let a rouge stay here while he's not here." He walked over to me and grabbed me by the arm. I went to pull away but he tightened his grip.

"Let her go! She's not a rouge. She's..., my friend from California!" The boy stepped in front of me and tried pushing him away. The beta let go and grabbed the boy by the collar of his shirt and pulled him up.

"Your dealing with your brother do you understand?!" He dropped the boy and turned to me, "Don't think about trying anything, you got that, 'cause we will kill you." With that he walked away. I turned to help the boy up.

"You ok?" He grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the kitchen.

"Why are you running? Better yet from who?" He let go of my hand and sat down at a long island in the middle of the kitchen.

"We'll I'm dead as far as my enemies are concerned. I've just been roaming around because I don't have a place to stay. Oh, and those rouges were chasing me 'cause I punched the leaders girl." I sat next to him. He smiled at me and started laughing.

"You are crazy! :D do I wanna know, why or should I trust you had a good reason?" He got up and headed over to the fridge and pulled out some sandwich ingredients.

"She stole from me, the leaders girl, that is. Trust me you don't want to steal the little I have.." I turned my head towards these large glass doors facing an enormous back yard that lead to the forest that surrounded the town. I walked over to the doors and stared outside. The sun was beginning to set behind the mountains that hide this beautiful little town.

"Pretty, huh? ;) Hey I never introduced my self. I'm Devon Edwards, youngest son of Demon Edwards ex- Alpha of the Full moon pack." He stood up straighter and smiled sweetly as he shook my hand. I looked at him closely, his short, dark brown hair looked spiked and his soft brown eyes matched well with his hair and lightly tanned skin.

"I'm Ana belle but you can call me Alex. So where's your alpha?" I continued looking out the glass doors.

"He left to find his mate. He always leaves around this time to London to look for her. He'll be back tomorrow, it's our turn to host the Christmas party." He said.

"Why is he looking for her? Did she reject him?" I turned to face him.

"Your see my brother shifted at an early at so he found out who his mate was before she turned. She was kidnapped right before his eyes. He was young so he couldn't protect her. I keep telling him to just stay here and wait. Fate will bring them together, because his mate has to know who she's mated to." He must have seen my expression so he continued. "You see it's said that all Alphas and Betas will find their mates more easily because the pull is stronger then with us regular pack members." He sat down at the table. I looked back out side and my head started hurting. I tried to shake it off but it only made my head hurt more.

"Well I'll see you tomorrow." I turned and walked out of the kitchen without waiting for a response. I ran up the stairs and into my room.

I locked the door behind me. My body felt limp and my vision blurred. I fell onto the bed. I couldn't move, all I did was stare outside my window. Something was coming, but I couldn't move, I know that I should go but I can't. My eyes felt heavy....

The Alphas P.O.V

I was seventy miles from my town and once again I failed to find here. The thought of her in another mans arms hurts even if she didn't know we were mates. Damn, if only I had been strong enough to protect her. I ran faster, the moist dirt caving under my paws. Now only sixty miles.

Maybe my brother's right, maybe she'll come to me if I just wait. I ran faster and faster. The rouges! The leader jumped in front of my and smiled, he was in human form.

"She's a tough one that rouge. Punched my girl square in the jaw. She runs like a bullet to, but I see you haven't killed her or let her out." He saw my confusion and smiled even bigger.

I jumped over him and ran even faster, I was a few feet from the river behind my house but I stopped short. A delicious sent filled the air. It over took me and my heart began to race. She's here... My Mate.
