Making your way back to your room felt odd, everything felt so strange. You had always known vampires had feelings, you knew they had been hidden inside somewhere, Yoongi had honestly just scraped up all the worst emotions, except for love.

It scared you, not knowing what was happening. Not knowing what Baekhyun and hopefully Yoongi knew. Yesterday you felt so certain of just letting him go out of anger. But the tiny rats gnawing at your heart strings told you differently. Now you had had a taste of freedom and love, how could you ever want anything else?

Once you opened the door to your room, you saw Baekhyun seated at the window, your favorite chair. He looked at you, whilst holding up a glass that you could clearly smell was blood.

''What if I don't want it?'' you raised your eyebrow provocatively

''Might be so, but I do know you want answers''

You face went back to your much loved stone like expression.

''No drink, no answers'' Baekhyun stretched his arms forward, offering you the drink which you hesitantly took.

''Is this another drugging?''

Baekhyun threw his head back in a laughing fit. ''For what reason would I?''

You looked at him in silence, not entirely sure how to answer.

''Just drink the damn drink (Y/N), we are going horse riding''

''I can just outrun you'' you poured the drink in your mouth, quickly swallowing everything, if this was what needed to be done for answers, so shall be it. You turned to see Baekhyun already holding your bedroom door, signalling you to follow.

''What would be the fun in that?''

Galloping behind Baekhyun felt nostalgic, the two of you would do this on the daily when you were just kids, or had the age of kids. Not knowing where he wanted to go you just followed, trying to behave correctly to get the answers you wanted. He made a sharp turn to the right, which you quickly followed. The woods weren't the easiest to go through on horse, but Bakhyun must have been unable to turn. After another 20min of riding he stopped at a lake in the forest. A small smile crept on your face once you recognized it.

''You haven't been here at all?''

''Ever since you went to war, it had always been our place, not mine''

He nodded at you, understanding what you ment. The both of you jumped of the horses and tied them against a tree. making your way to some rocks on the lakes bend. You sat down, throwing your shoes on the side so you could dip your toes in the water. You swung your feet back and forward, feeling the water move in between your toes.

''How are you?''

A question you weren't expecting. ''I feel--- empty---confused----disappointed''

''I am sorry you feel that way''

''I am sorry you still aren't giving me my answers''

baekhyun sighed loudly as he looked over the lake, the sun reflecting off of it. ''Let me start at the beginning''

''I was back in the war tent with my lieutenants, we had just had a victory over a big plot of land, and were figuring out the last strategic play. The letter came at the same time, father, asking me for help with you''  You looked at your brother nodding slightly to urge him to continue.
''It didn't say in which he needed my help, but you still are my little sister, I figured it must have been urgent for him to call me out of war strategy like that, I got on a horse and rode back, not even wanting to wait for a carriage. Once I arrived home, I was unable to reach the castle-- the bridge was gone''

''Sorry about that one''

He snickered at your reaction. ''It took them a few hours to make a shaky wooden bridge, but at least I was able to pass. Father urged me into the office immediately speaking in quick words. You had apparently lost control, ran away, ruined his home and denied your mate''

You kept quiet, it wasn't really untrue.. all those things had happened, he had just let out a large amount of information

''He told me you hated him, and he wanted you back in the castle, apparently Kai still wants to marry you and that is what he wants''

you sighed and he grabbed your hand

''But little sister, you must have a guardian angel''

''Once I had left the office ready to become angry and pull you back home, she pulled me into your chamber, first she had shown me the letter you wrote to her, then she had explained the entire story. You had done those things, but you were in love''

He smiled at you, making you want to cry but luckily you managed to hold it in.

''A few things happened quickly after that, one, I wanted to meet this Kai guy, I am half werewolf half human and I know how it would be to find a mate, he wasn't acting--right. It didn't make sense to me that if you WERE his mate why he would quietly sit in the back yard reading, as you were with another man. Two, I came up with a plan''.

''Just strategy'' he shrugged.

''I needed you to come home, so a war wouldn't happen, if it was true you were in love, I couldn't let you pick between family or love. I talked to Seokjin and Yoongi at the party, he needed to let you go''

''If he would've come, I was afraid we wouldn't be able to change anything, you would have fought everyone and everything if it made it possible to be with him. I need you, to not fight this way, we are fighting this differently''

You looked at him as you saw his arm moving up and his hand opening.
''Fight with me sister, I promise, you won't marry anyone but Yoongi''

Yoongi made his way to the dining hall, not looking any of his brother in the eyes. After a moment of silence someone dared to speak

Yoongi looked up at his younger brother, the much loved box smile not to be seen on the younger face
''A stake to the hearth would be better''

Sad eyes were pointed towards him, making it harder for him to swallow his breakfast.

''We have decided to trust him Yoongi, we are giving them a week, if we haven't heard anything by them, we will go''

''You promise?''

''I am your brother Yoongi, future king of Llroa, as your brother I want you to be happy, as a king, I need her as an alliance. Give them a week. then we'll march''

''A week, then we march'' Yoongi took his glass back to his lips, sipping on the liquid
