Chapter24

John POV

Mac finger pointed to a pile of dirt.

It was so hot I wanted to faint. I ran over there and started to dig. Soon everybody was helping.

I pulled out a wooden coffin.

I open it up. Alice. I began to cry. Miley cover her face into Matthew arms and she let out a scream,"WHY?"

Alice eyes was closed. No sign of heart beat. Mr.Roy came over and gave her CPR.

She's dead. Everything happen so fast. The aumblance came and got her and took her to the hospital.

Few hours later_

We all sat in the waiting room crying. Mac went to a American prison and is sentence to death.

The doctor came in and I jump up,"Is she alive?"

"She's in a coma. One of you can go in and see her."

I ran inside her room. She was hook up to all this types of machines.

"Alice.. I know you maybe can not hear me, but Mac is in prison. For life. A-and umm, I don't want you to leave me. Not now, not never because you are my first love.." I began to cry.

"Alice, if you can hear me please, wake up. You are strong you went through the most and you are still here. Alice." I began to walk away. My head hung down.

Miley and Matthew went inside together.

Mr. Roy was on the phone with Alice mother and Emily.

Night time fell and I was the only one still in Alice room. Her mother and Emily came by. Crying their eyes out.

I look at Alice, and for the millionth time I grab her hand.

"Alice, I love you."

I saw her eye lids flicker. I look closey. Maybe I was seeing things.

Then I felt her hand tighten up around mine. No, I'm just paranoid.

She began to cough. Okay maybe I'm not.

"Alice?!"

"J-John?" She look at me.

My fingers ran through her hair.

"Come here." She whispers.

I lean over her,"Yes?"

"I love you.. Too." She huff. She look so tired. I kiss her.

The nurse came inside. "Is she out of her coma?" She saw Alice eyes open.

She buz the doctor,"She's out of her coma!!"

Week later_Alice POV

The class room clap, then John and i sat down.

"Great job on your project. You really got into deatail. And talk about everything that happen last month." The instructor smiled.

John grab my hand. "When we start college, I think I wanna marry you."

"Are you serious?"

"Oh so serious." He smiled.

Matthew look at us,"If nothing else doesn't go wrong."

The principal buzz the room,"CAN I SEE ALICE, JOHN, AND MATTHEW TO THE OFFICE PLEASE!!?"

I glared at Matthew,"Haha thanks alot for jinxing us."

John punch Matthew in his shoulder.

We all walk to the office.

The It Girl owner stood there waiting on me, "You never called my clients back, so I thought I must do this myself." She smiled.

John and Matthew look around. Then they saw a big time NFL player, I have no clue who is because I don't watch football. But telling by their eyes they were happy.

"I'm here because I've seen you two skills at football and I would love to present you two a full scholarship to-"

They scream like little girls who got one direction tickets and VIP.

Miley ran up to me,"Guess what?" She smiled.

"What?"

"I'm going to be your fashion designer."

I gawk,"you know how to design clothes?"

"I'm going to ignore that." She giggled.

And I knew right now, that everything is going to be okay. Because there's always a victory at the end of a huge obstacle.
