The rusted, yet still working train zooms quickly along the tracks which lay before it, the contraption jolting up slightly at every connection of the rails, the crates bouncing up along with it, a certain prized possession in its grasp.

The marauders chat incomprehensibly amongst themselves as they scout the train, guns at the ready, a few in the cockpit, unaware of what is about to happen to them.

One of the marauders in the cockpit peer out of the windshield to the snowstorm before them, squinting his eyes as he alerts the others to a figure in the distance.

The others wave off this marauder, but this marauder's eyes don't leave the nearing individual, which soon has two accompanying balls of red gathering at it's side.

And, amidst the blizzard, the figure leaps 10 meters into the air supernaturally, her eyes glowing as she thrusts her hands in the direction of the train, the energy surging in suit, exploding across the vehicle's front as it started to come to a stop.

The marauder's clamor in shock, readying their weapons as they fired on the magical hovering threat. Their attempts were foiled by a navy blue protection barrier that encircled the witch, work of Travis in Demon Warlock form, along with Lilith, who were both at work at the conjoined effort afloat behind her.

The marauder's mouth off in rage, obviously not the brightest of the creatures on Pandora, buying Aaron's team time to make their way onto the convoy. Aaron, along with Katelyn and Roland, stalks their way across the caboose, shutting their entrance to get an escape from the raging storm outside.

"The orb should be in the middle car, a few one's up, follow me...." Aaron whispers to his colleagues, their guns poised as they followed in Lycan's footsteps. Suddenly, eyeing two marauder guards most probably on an hourly patrol, marching over from the next train car.

The three of them duck behind assorted crates, Katelyn readying her gauntlets by aiming them inconspicuously at the guards, clasping a button on each in reach of her thumb, silenced spikes launching from the knuckles towards the guards. A few hit one of the guards in the unprotected neck area, his carotid erupting as he fell to his death off the side of train-car's connecter.

The other guard hit only in his arm, yells at the intruders, alerting the others that they were being robbed.

Gunshots can be heard from both sides of the convoy, the trio ducking for cover, as they really had no other choice, they were surrounded. Every move they tried to meet, were met with a well-placed bullet.

The situation seemingly continued to be grimmer, the entities closing in from either side, the three of them feeling rather hopeless as their fate started to dawn on them, Aaron clutching his necklace tightly in despair.

That is until they showed up....

You know.....women....

A figure swerves overhead within the cart, a familiar bolt of black which starts to hack down the marauders at astounding speed, two demonic daggers in hand. They react and shoot quickly, but she is quicker, working at a speed which was clearly a perk of her new robotic part, or parts. Aaron smiles widely and proud at his wife, remembering old times.

Soon a bolt of orange, blue and red joins her as the magical creatures disperse to finish off the remainders. Either bashing them with beams of energy or stabbing them with light-created daggers, they took care of them.

It finally is deemed safe enough for the trio to recover to a standing position, Aphmau extending a helping hand to her husband, a slight smirk playing at her lips.

Aaron takes it, knowing he didn't really need it, but it was a symbol of union and love regardless.   Although, despite the minimal strain Aaron put on her, she masks a wince, then exhales with annoyance, knowing Aaron caught her.

"What is it? Aph, are you hurt?" Aaron inquires with concern, his eyes and hands exploring her torso with curiosity.

"Aaron, not in front of the kids." Aphmau jokes, smiling sheepishly, everyone recuperating themselves to prepare to move on.

"Aph, I'm serious. Did you get shot or----" Aaron starts, Aphmau pressing her human thumb to his lips, but what really shuts him up is when she replaces her thumb with a quick, tender locking of the lips.

But, it is really Aphmau who is surprised, when a sudden, short burst of pain explodes at her side, feeling her husband's hand there, pressing gently against it, but just enough to stimulate a reaction. Aaron lock's his knowing gaze with his love's, Aphmau just rolling her eyes as she continues on through the train cars, Aaron protectively on her heels.

They find their way to the middle train car, seeing the group fussing over a circular violet-purple object in Roland's grasp, his rare megawatt smile inspiring those around him.

"Two down...one to go." Aaron trumpets, the group cheering along with him as some warmth starts to radiate from the joy in this cold climate.

Though as always, something comes to interrupt the happiness, which is the sudden blunt force which is suffered by the train car's right side, everyone inside and its contents slamming accordingly to the left.

As does the....the whole convoy, off the bridge into the deep, darkness below.

Have a nice day my crystals!
