"Oooh, I like my voice like this." The overhead voice continues, inciting everyone to solidify in their current stance, his looming chuckle echoing throughout the Caravan's chambers.

"Jack." Aaron snarls, instinctively grasping Aphmau's hand even tighter, as if in protection against the ruthless foe.

"Handsome Jack, thank you very much." Jack corrects, his comedic, yet sinister voice reverberating throughout the rooms.

Aphmau and Aaron share a look of bewilderment, Aphmau gesturing with masked pain to her earlobe, mouthing: "Can he hear us?"

Before Lycan can answer, Jack, yet again, interrupts with impeccable timing. "Of course I can hear you, and I'm gonna save you time and let you know I can see you as well, so you can stop looking like imbeciles."

Another one of Jack's maniac laughs oozes from the speakers. "Actually, forgive me, disregard my last statement....watching you all act like clowns is quite entertaining, to say the least."

As Jack has been rambling, a few of the others have slowly come to join Aphmau and Aaron in their room, all their faces cloudy and troubled.

"What do you want, Jack?" Aaron questions sharply, releasing Aphmau's grip as he tensely stands, eyeing daggers at the speaker and security camera in the corner of the room.

"Temper, Lycan. Oh my, have I angered the wolf already?" Jack says feignedly as if talking with a child.

"Enough with your games!" Aaron bellows, his muscles strained as rage boiled in his gut. "Now, if my memory serves me well, we have done nothing that should elicit your unneeded presence."

"Hm, just as I thought. Vault Hunters are indeed all, not only vexations, but atrocious liars."

"Get to the point, Jack." Laurence sneers, joining Aaron's side with similar hostility.

"Consider this a warning...you have several 'things' in your possession which you not only stole from me...but have neglected to state you possess."

"What do you mean...'things'?" Lucinda inquires, with definitive contempt but also an undertone of curiosity.

"Well, why don't you ask your...Phoenix." All that follows is one of Jack's infamous evil laughing fits as his announcements come to a close.

Everyone's gaze shifts to Aphmau, who could only counter with a guilty pout.

Short, but I mean, this chapter is evil anyways MUAHAHH
