"Nghh... Nghh... Hmm?" I woke up and looked at the alarm clock. It was 10:30 a.m. The morning sunshine was so bright.
"I can't get used to this." I said. I woke up and took my bath. I changed into my normal clothes and went into the kitchen. I saw Minako cooking. I sighed.
"Hmm? You okay?" Minako asked.
"Umm.... The foods burning." I pointed.
"Ah, wait. Ah!" She screamed. She was about to fall.
"Ah! Minako!" I catched her and carried her in a bridal position.
"U-Umm... You can put me down now." She said. Her face was beet red.
"R-Right." I was also red. I looked the at the food. It was burnt to crisp. Minako was teary.
"Want to get some ramen?" I asked.
"Yeah, okay..." She was gloomy. Minako then changed her clothes, I didn't need to. We went out and headed for Iwatodai Strip Mall. We headed for Wakatsu Restaurant. We ordered two of the specials. Minako was still pouting.
"You alright? You didn't get her or anything?" I asked.
"No, I'm just sad." Minako stretched her arms forward. She looked at me.
"We going to go out any way even if I cook right?" She stared at me. I tried to look away but she couldn't stop staring.
"Y-Yeah." I give in. The pouting became worse.
"You know I don't understand why you wouldn't let me cook." She said
"Because you make something inedible in the end." I said, remembering all this past dishes.
"Yeah, I forgot." Two people then came in, it was Mitsuru and Akihiko-senpai.
"Oh hey." Akihiko said.
"Hello, Akihiko-senpai, Mitsuru-senpai." Minako greeted.
"Yo, Akihiko, Mitsuru." I greeted, impolitely.
"I know we aren't in school anymore but that doesn't me you can't have any manners around those who older." Mitsuru scolded me.
"Sorry."
"Nah, its alright." Akihiko said. They both ordered the specials.
"My, you people know each other. Oh, you're that kid." He pointed at me.
"Yeah, the one that usually eats here with your friend after school right? Its been awhile since I've seen you. Here all of these on the house." He said. He gave us our food for free of charge.
"Thank you." I thanked the shop owner.
"Well, that was generous of him." Mitsuru said, slowly eating the ramen.
"Wow, you don't usually eat here right Mitsuru? What made you come here?" Minako asked Mitsuru. I enjoyed my food while listening to them.
"Well... I always wanted to eat here and.... Umm." Mitsuru's face was red.
"To be exact, we're on a date." Akihiko just blurted it out.
"Wha-"
"Oh I see, marriage?" I asked. Mitsuru became redder.
"We're still thinking about it." Akihiko calmly ate his ramen.
"A-A-Aki, could you not tell it in front of them. Its embarrassing." Mitsuru whispered but we heard every word.
"Oh, Aki~ that what you call Akhiko-senpai, right Mitsuru?" Minako and me smiled.
"Ahh! Stop it!" Mitsuru almost died in embarrassment.
"Anyway, how are you two adapting?" Akihiko asked. Yeah, I forgot. We've been freed from the Great Seal for at least month. Its March, 24th 2017. We meet a lot of people, two wildcards too. The Phantom Thieves and The Investigation Group saved us and also my friends freed us from those chains. I was really glad to be back and thankful to them. Though now, I can't adapt to it really well. I guess seven years is long and not knowing what had happened for that seven years, I began to sigh.
"Its... It'll take time to adapt to it." I replied. I wasn't really sure. Heck, I don't think I still contacted my friends from high... School. I realized something.
"What is it, Minato?" Minako asked, she noticed that I was staring deep into thought.
"Umm... Does everyone one of you have a smartphone?" I asked. All of them took it out from their pocket. I took my cellphone.
"You still use that?" Mitsuru was shocked.
"Well, I didn't have time to buy a new one and I don't how to use it." I'm basically a virgin at everything now.
"Well, to be exact I just bought the cheapest one. I only use it to make calls." Akihiko had his normal reply.
"The latest model. Helps me to be on other peoples standards." Mitsuru replied.
"Mine... Its just common sense to buy one." She said bluntly. I feel like I just got shot by Yukari but this is Minako. Did she inherit her sharp tongue by accident? Well whatever.
"Well Minako, could you help me buy a smartphone?" I asked.
"Yeah sure. Let's go now." We finished our plate and headed toward the exit.
"See ya, senpai." Minako waved at them. They waved back.
"Well, now that we aren't disturbed anymore what should we do?" Akihiko flirted with Mitsuru, taking her hand and kissing it.
"I like this side of you." Mitsuru rested her face on her other hand.
"Well, should we go somewhere?" Akihiko said.
"Yeah, could you choose? I don't want to be the one choosing the place all the time." Mitsuru complained.
"Alright, let's go somewhere quiet and peaceful then." Akihiko hold Mitsuru's hand.
"Okay. As long as I'm with you." She said, resting her head on his shoulders.
