A... Burden? I was confused at first, but then I realized what Igor had meant. I shivered in fear knowing 'he' was still alive.
"Nxy... Is still alive?" Minako asked, breathing shakily.
"Yes." Igor said, sadly.
"But I thought we killed it." I said.
"Sadly, you only killed part of it, the rest of the parts escaped, and now is in the seal. The function of the seal is not divide Erebus- oh no, it is also to seal Nxy in it." Elizabeth said.
"So that's why we're here." I said, I felt enraged a bit.
"But why didn't you tell us?" Minako asked, trying to get a clear explanation.
"The one that must be sacrificed for the seal must have unwavering courage and spirit. He or she must not waver any fight and the only ones who can do that is you two- the 'Wildcards'." Theodore explained.
"I understand but... Hiding information from us is basically lying!" Minako threw a fit. I sat calmly, not caring. I began to wonder how are we going to fight Nxy.
"And you can't just say all of that and-" I cut off Minako from saying unnecessary things and asked-
"How do we fight Nxy?" I asked.
"Wait? You're not serious, are you?" Minako asked. She felt a bit angry for me.
"We sacrificed our lives to seal it and the reason we did it was for our friends." I said. Minako then widened her eyes and strengthen her resolve.
"Alright.." She said.
"Well then, I shall explain now." Igor said.
"As the seals, you will venture into 'Chaos', an unknown being or place. It will replicate what you had imagine and experience, but it seems like it has taken a liking towards a new place. The city will be filled with shadows of people, you may interact with them since they are not that hostile, but be vigilante at all times." Igor said. 'Chaos'? Why do I have heard it before in a book I've read? Wait.. It can't be.
"Say, in Greek mythology, The parent of Hypnos ,deity of sleep, Nxy deity of night, Thanatos, deity of death, Moros, deity of doom and Erebus, deity of darkness is... 'Chaos', right?" She asked.
"Yes, you will venture into 'Chaos', just like you venture into Tartarus." Igor smiled.
"But isn't 'Chaos' a persona. Its not a place." I asked.
"It... Changes by time. Like I said, in the seal, Nxy is still alive and is in 'Chaos's' realm and...." Igor stopped.
"Well, I'll leave that to your imagination." Igor said.
"Now then, let your journey begin, shall we?" Igor snapped his fingers. We found ourselves on a train from Iwatodai heading towards Tokyo. We had our bags, I was standing up and Minako sat down. We looked outside the window to see the ominous black sky and the bright yellowish moon, almost the same as The Dark Hour. In the train, there were some 'people', or to be accurate, shadows. The manifestation of our true selves. Igor had explained to us when we were in the Velvet Room. I looked towards Minako, who had her headphones on red slick headphones, the same model as me but mine was blue, had a worried expression on her face. I then noticed that we are not wearing our school uniforms but our winter clothes. It might just be a change of wear.
"We are now arriving to Tokyo." The announcer said. The train stopped and the doors opened. We walked out of the train and headed outside. While walking, I felt some stares from the shadows that we walked by, it felt like we were not welcome here. We then made it out and saw the replicated Tokyo, manifested with shadows. The bustling Tokyo, that I imagine and the busy lives of people that I alway-
"I always wondered." Minako cut me off. I widened my eyes. Did she read my mind? It couldn't be.
"Well, it is Tokyo." I said.
"It looks different, it feels like we're in the Dark Hour, but this time for eternity." Minako said. Worried.
"Don't worry, we will finish this, once and for all." I reassured Minako.
"...Yeah." She said.
"Now let's go and meet Igor."
