I sat in a lonesome bar at the edge of town, sulking in my own despair and observing the few people that inhabitaed it.
But one man in particular caught my attention.
A man six stools away from me with tons of tattoos and a black v-neck that fit his body like a glove sat alone.
His fingers tapped on the polished bar, his hands clutching a glass that contained something of a sickly brown color, and his fingers were marked with the faint lines of white.
I sat at the other side of the bar but took interest in the young man's hands, that seemed to be so scuffed that it made me weary just by looking at them.
My eyes scanned the young mans face and i couldn't deny the instant attraction to his light brown eyes, his jet black hair and the scruff on his face that showed that he probably hasn't shaved in the amount of three days. He was most definitely one of the most attractive human beings that i have see in my twenty years.
He seemed to be as if he was in deep thought as if he had a million words to say but kept quiet, he was quite interesting to look at, a perfect sight to see, the way that his eyebrows rose and his eyes held a questioning look, the way that his lips seemed to form a hint of a smile but didn't quite reach his eyes, And that's when I noticed it... he was looking at me.
I quickly looked back at the polished wood of the bar as if it was the most interesting thing in the world, I couldn't help the blush that tinted my cheeks and the way my hands drummed on the rim of my empty glass.
"excuse me miss" a soft voice spoke from behind the bar
My eyes shot up as i glanced at the girl, she held a light pink drink in her hand and a visible cherry floated in the center of it.
Yes? I questioned my eyebrows furrowed
"That young man over at the end of the bar there" she pointed her red polished finger at the guy that i've been watching intently , " wants me to deliver this to you.
My eyes widened, without hesitation I looked over to where the man was sitting but he wasn't looking at me, No, he was looking down at his phone now with a deep frown on his face.
I quiclky looked back at the waitress her brown hair tied in a bun and her red tinted lips quirked in a smile I took a moment to admire her flawless brown skin before i asked her " Are you sure this is for me" I gave her a questioned look.
She smiled even larger her perfect white teeth forming a grin,
Gosh did this girl even own any flaws? I hoped my bit of jealousy didn't show.
"Of course it's for you, he was very specicfic on who the drink was for". she said holding the drink out for me take.
I took one more glance at the mysterious guy that bought me the drink, but yet his beutiful brown eyes stayed glued on his space grey Iphone.
I looked back at the soft pink alchol that she was handing to me, and I clutched my fingers around the cold glass and set it down before me.
"If I were you I would go get his number" she gave me an all knowing look and wink, before she left to serve some other customers.
I blushed even harder. Should I ?
No ! I couldn't, I wasn't the type to go up to a guy, And i sure wasn't the type to go ask for a hot guys number. I wasn't as bold as the pretty waitress might be or as confident.
My finger circled around the rim of the glass cup contemplating on what I should do.
If I do get up what would I say to him, what could two strangers possibly talk about. Would he like me, would he think I was pretty my mind was winding up every scenario that might happen between me and him that I didn't even notice the movement of my feet making it's way to him, my fingers around the cool glass and my eyes focused on him.
