Kim Seokjin has done a lot of things in his life.

He was lost once, he reached a breaking point. He was taken apart and broken. Tried to find his place in the world, failed, then tried again.

He once thought he was alone. But against all odds he found the light in the darkness, and from then on he finds comfort in healing and learns to continue living.

Kim Seokjin has returned.

One of the very first things he did was call his parents. He called his mother and father and told them everything he wished he had said. He told them how much he loves them even with all the disagreements they have regarding Seokjin's career path. His father offered to take him fishing one day, and Seokjin made it a promise. He called his family, his brother, and all the people he thought he had lost.

Next he contacted all the close ones he can think of, from his fellow idols to old acquaintances from university. He asked them how they've been doing, what they've been up to lately. He congratulates them on any of their recent achievements. A group of friends from high school asked if Seokjin would want to come to an upcoming reunion. Seokjin told them he'd make room in his schedule.

Time went on and Seokjin found himself already adapting to his old life by the second day. Never has he felt more at home than with the six boys he had grown to know and love over the years. They really are a family - despite already living in a world without them for half a year, Seokjin still couldn't imagine how he'd live without them.

He walked in the kitchen one morning to find it a mess.

"What's all this?"

Taehyung turned to him, ketchup smeared on his cheeks and holding a spatula.

"Good morning, hyung!" he chirped.

Seokjin noticed the state of chaos the kitchen was currently in, cooking utensils scattered all over the counter. There's a carton of eggs open next to the sink and a suspicious looking spill next to the microwave.

"I made breakfast for you!" Taehyung proudly pointed to the dining table, oppositely spotless compared to the kitchen counter behind him. There lay a plate with a crooked looking omelete on it, a quarter of it burnt. The hanggul for "Jin" is written on it with ketchup, and next to it is a glass of orange juice.

Amused, Seokjin looked at the breakfast on the table then back to the counter. Tae noticed and looked behind him, then let out a soft "oh" as he realized how big of a mess he's made.

"Sorry hyung," he lamented. "I just wanted to cook something for you since you're the one who's always making food for us...I promise I'll clean it up- ooph!"

Taehyung got the air knocked out him when Seokjin went forward to pull him into a tight hug.

"I love it, TaeTae," he said.

"You do?"

"Yes, and I'm sure it's tasty." He let go and ruffled Taehyung's hair. "Help me make breakfast for the others, will you? I'll teach you a thing or two about cooking as well."

The bright grin on Taehyung's face is enough to push Seokjin through any though day.

Namjoon walked to Seokjin and Yoongi's room one day to see the walls decorated with polaroid pictures strung together by fairy lights. Most of them pictures of the members in various locations of the globe. Others are of his family, friends, and pets.
