Hey everyone. I know you're probably distressed right now, but trust me. I'm fine.

I left because it's for the best. I'm  a hindrance to you all, and the last thing I want is for all of you to slow your careers down for my sake. You are all so close to the finish line, and I don't want to take that away from you.

So PLEASE focus on your comeback, I know you all work so hard. Please, don't try to find me. Keep your eyes on your future. I promise I'll stream all your new music, okay? In return please promise you'll take care of each other.

Sincerely, Seokjin

"PS, I made some bulgogi before I left. They're in the fridge. Remember to heat them up." Namjoon stared down at the letter in his shaking hands. Once he finished reading, the room exploded to chaos.

"HE WHAT?" Taehyung shrieked. "Hyung, this is a joke, right? Right?!"

Yoongi kicked the couch. "Motherfucker!"

Jungkook started to breathe rapidly. "Did he abandon us? Why would he leave us? Was it something we did? Did we do something wrong to him? Did we-?"

"I don't want bulgogi," Jimin said weakly in the midst of the loudness. "I want Jin hyung back."

Hoseok snatched the letter from Namjoon, wanting to read it with his own two eyes. "No. No no no no- we can't lose him! We just got him back! We can't-"

"EVERYONE BE QUIET," Namjoon bellowed. The whole room fell silent.

"Can we all just stay calm for a goddamn moment and try to think about this rationally," he ordered to the group.

"I- I just- I don't understand." Taehyung hiccupped and wiped his nose, tears already starting to well up. "Why- why would Jin hyung do this?"

The others glanced at Taehyung sympathetically. He's never one to handle the loss of a family member well.

Jimin looked at Namjoon, eyes glassy. "Hyung, why does Jin hyung think our careers are more important than him?

Hoseok chimed in. "Even more; why does Seokjin think we care about our careers more than him."

"Look, I don't-" Namjoon let out a shaky breath. "I don't know, okay? Right now, we should just focus on finding Jin."

"Let's go back to the café, then!" Taehyung exclaimed.

"He won't be there," said Yoongi from the corner of the room. So far, he was the only one who hasn't participated in the conversation.

"Why wouldn't he?" Jungkook asked.

"Yoongi, is there something you're not telling us?" Namjoon asked lowly.

Yoongi sighed and dragged a hand through his hair. He leaned forwards on the couch.

"Yesterday we had a- uh, we had a talk. I told him that I was sorry for what happened, but he tried to convince him that it wasn't my- or, our fault. And- and the way he said it...It's like he sees himself as an obstacle. For us."

"Which means?" Hoseok asked worriedly.

"What I'm saying is that he's willing to go away as far as possible from us, to get out of our lives. Which means he probably already bought a train ticket to another city or some shit just to get away from us."

"Would he- would he really do that?" Jimin asked, despite all them already knew deep down that yes; it is something Seokjin would do.

Yoongi looked down in defeat. "We always forget how devious he can be."
