What If Squirrelflight Was Mates With Ashfur?

If Squirrelflight was mates with Ashfur instead of Brambleclaw, Alderheart and Sparkpelt would've never been born. Which means the events of A Vision of Shadows wouldn't have happened. SkyClan might've not joined the other Clans, and Twigbranch and Violetshine would be still with Pebbleshine and Hawkwing.

Which leads to Rootpaw not being born.

Another thing that would not happen is the fire scene. Along with Hollyleaf  killing Ashfur, and then running into the tunnels. She might've still died in The Last Hope though.

Brambleclaw might feel betrayed though. In Sunset, he might've killed Firestar along with Hawkfrost. Meaning Hawkfrost would be alive and also would now be leader instead of Mistystar.

And in Leafpool's Wish, Squirrelflight might've not helped Leafpool when she was expecting Crowfeather's kits. She only helped her since Yellowfanf told her she couldn't have kits, but she might've had Ashfur's kits at this point. So Leafpool would've been exiled, unless she found another cat to help her.

In the event of her exile, Hollyleaf, Jayfeather and Lionblaze would go with her, and so Power of Three wouldn't take place. Or Omen of the Stars. The Dark Forest would've won without the Three.

But if she didn't get exiled, Power of Three/Omen of the Stars would carry on as normal, except with Ashfur being mates with Squirrelflight.

Now let's go back to Brambleclaw. If he killed Firestar, he would be leader. And he would still be training in the Dark Forest. He'd be like what Ashfur really is.

He could pick any number of cats to be deputy. And since Firestar died in the Last Hope, he'd most likely die there instead. So what cat would be leader after him?

Obviously not Squirrelflight and Ashfur.

But now that I'm thinking about it, I think it could be Ivypool. She did train with Hawkfrost in the Dark Forest, so it would make sense since him and Brambleclaw killed Firestar together.

I have no idea who could've been deputy before Ivypool though. Spiderleg maybe? If I remember correctly, he didn't like kittypets, and Firestar was a kittypet, so Brambleclaw would pick a cat that didn't like Firestar.

Dustpelt would also be an obvious choice.

So, I think that's everything that would change. Basically Squirrelflight could've destroyed almost everything if she'd went with Ashfur. But then, nice things would happen too. Ashfur wouldn't be evil, and wouldn't have tried to kill Leafpool's kits.
