"This place is good." Tony remarks, chowing down on his shawarma as I took a bite of mine. "Now, who's paying?" He questions and everyone at the table just looks at him. "I suggest Barton pays."

"Why do I have to pay?"

"To look good for your lady." Tony beckons to me, who was sitting on the chair with Clint, right in his lap, his left leg stretched out to Tasha's chair. "Unless you want me to pay and let me look good so I can steal her."

"You hate me." I mumble, a blush creeping over my cheeks.

The Shawarma Palace, as the building was called, had been hurt in the attack, but not enough so that they couldn't produce food. They seemed more than happy to help us with our hunger pangs since we just helped save New York. "Hate is a strong word. But I still suggest Barton pay, since I just saved everyone from a nuke, might I add. I died for a moment."

"But the Hulk saved you, so you owe him." I glance at Banner. "Who do you think should pay?"

"Oh, I"m not getting into this." Banner puts in and I sigh.

"Do you even have any money?" I question Clint. He shakes his head and Tony calls for the bill, but the people of the restaurant just say that it was on the house for us. "Oh, I feel bad now. Stark, leave a big tip for them."

"Why do I have to leave a big tip for them?" Stark questions and I just look at him.

"Because you are the one that wanted to come here in the first place."

"Because I didn't know what it was."

"Uh huh. Just say I'll pay them when I'm back in town."

"What do you mean back in town? I thought you lived here."

        "I did. Things change."

        "Where do you leave now?"

        "Somewhere."

        "You're not gonna tell me?"

        "Why would I?"

        "Cause I'm your boss."

"Ha, you fired me multiple times. And, I don't work for you."

"Who am I supposed to call when I need someone to walk my dog?"

        "You don't have a dog. You're allergic."

        "What happens-"

"Tony, I'm not telling you where we moved."

"Awe, so a secret getaway." Tony smirks and I sigh, leaning against Clint's chest. "You two gonna play some hide-and-seek?" Tony winks and I give him the bird. "Ooo, naughty naughty. You're going to like alone time with this one."

"Can we stop talking about me?" I whisper, and Tony shrugs, the others finishing up their shawarma. "Don't we need to get you and Loki, along with the Tessarect back up to Asgard?" I question Thor, who nods, food still in his mouth. "Okay, let us first go up to the Helicarrier, change and talk to Fury, and then let you take both, sound good?"

"That sounds brilliant, Miss Veronica." Thor bows his head at me and I nod. I then stand up, wincing at the wounds at my body.

"Yep, we should also get these wounds stitched up real tight."

On the Helicarrier

"Can I just lay here like this?" I question Clint, who glances over at me. I was laying down on his bed, just wearing undergarments with parts of my body wrapped in bandages.

Clint chuckles as he returns to putting some modern clothes on. "You are laying there like that already."

        "That's not what I meant."

Clint sits down on the bed beside me, tucking some hair behind my ear. "You don't have to come if you aren't feeling up to it."

"No," I sit up, "I promised Thor I would say goodbye."

"Okay." He leans down to kiss me before standing up, heading back over to the dresser with clothes of ours. "What do you want to wear today?"

"Something comfortable. You wearing your jacket today?"

        "My gray one."

        "Dang, I liked that one."

"Here." Clint tossed me a pair of purple jeans, a navy blue tank top, and my light blue jean vest.

"Thanks, babe." I answer before sitting up, thankful for the pain-reliever pills Banner gave me.

I glanced up at Clint to see him wearing his gray jacket, favorite red t-shirt, and blue jeans. "You ready to go?"

"Yeah." I walk out of the door and head over to Tasha's, knocking. "Hey, you good to go?" I call out and there was no reply. "I think she left already." I say to Clint, who shrugs. "Come on, if she's left than they are all probably ready to send them off."

At the Park

I got out of S.H.I.E.L.D. issued black car and so did Clint, who had been driving. The other Avengers had arrived around the same time as us, Loki being led to the middle of the bridge with a metal mouth-cuff, his hands also cuffed. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. were lined around the bridge, watching out for reporters and other intrusions or enemies. Banner had come with Tasha in a car similar to ours, Tony in his Lamborghini, and Steve on his old-fashioned motorcycle. Loki and Thor had also been in a S.H.I.E.L.D. van, which had the new case holder for the Tessarect, which Tony had in a silver briefcase.

As Selvig, Banner, and Tony were putting the Tessarect into the new case, I went over to Thor, giving him a hug. Clint also came over. "Thank you, for catching her when I couldn't." Clint whispered to Thor, offering out his hand for Thor to shake, which Thor did with a nod of his head.

"It was of no burden. I had remembered you both from when I had first came to Midgard."

"I remembered you too, before, when you beat up Big Johnny like he was a Little Johnny." I murmur before looking over at Loki. "I hope you find something good in your life. I really do hope you do, because I can see the good in you." I step back then, bumping shoulders with Clint as we did, Selvig handing over the holder to Thor, who patted Selvig on the shoulder.

"So, we still have to paint the rest of the living rooms and the rest of the house actually." Clint whispers and I nod at him, smiling slightly at the thought of finally getting back to the farmhouse and working on it with him again.

Natasha walked over to whisper to Clint. I gave him a confused look as he smirked at what she said, but I didn't get the chance to question him since Thor and Loki went up to Asgard with the Tessarect's power. I stepped back as we saw them off, the wind whipping around as light streamed into the sky, probably attracting the new's attention.

It didn't take long for everyone to disperse and get going, Natasha probably going to relax, Tony taking Banner to Stark Tower, Steve riding off into the sunset, and me getting back into shotgun. "What did Tasha say?" I question as Clint starts to drive and he laughed.

"Well, you see, she said, 'Go show her your bow and arrows.'" Clint stated and I thought about that for a moment.

"Wait, is that supposed to be a trick question?"

"I have no idea. Just thought it was funny."

"Uh huh, that's what you were thinking."
