Natasha's boot tapped impatiently against the tiled floor as we waited to speak to the director of the new's station that had aired about me and Steve. Steve and Banner were off getting coffee and bagels, and Clint was behind me, hugging me as our fingers were interlocked over my stomach. "It should not take this long for them to meet with us, especially since we are the Avengers."

"Most of us." I cut in and she sends me a glare. "Hey, they'll speak with us, I swear."

"They better, or else I'm going in there-"

"Nat." Clint warned and she took a deep breath.

"Fine. I'll just calm down." Natasha mumbles and I smile at her. That was when Banner and Steve got back,  handing us our own coffee and bagels.

My nose twitches at the smell of Clint's coffee. "I don't see how you can drink that straight black. Even Tasha adds creamer and sugar, and she's Black Widow."

"It helps me to focus." Clint murmurs, glancing down at my Double Chocolatey Chip Frappuccino. "I don't see how you can drink something that sweet."

"It tastes good." I grumble, sipping at it while batting my eyelashes at him.

A man walked over to us from inside of an office, beckoning us into a meeting room, letting us sit down. "Sorry for the wait, we were busy discussing our nest segment. Now, what is it that you wanted to talk about?"

Natasha talks over before any of us have the chance to take a breath. "You have a rumor floating around about my girl and I would like it to stop."

        "I beg your pardon?"

"Your reporter Tammy Brown made the assumption that Ghost and Captain America are together in a relationship, which is not true."

"We had someone tell us first hand-"

"Their information was wrong. Now, you are going to put this straight, or I will personally put an end to it."

"Well, if we are to go cold turkey on one rumor, we need another to take its place." The director of the new's station murmurs, intrigued now. "What rumor would you have take its place?"

"That Ghost and Hawkeye are together." My eyes widen and I can tell Clint stiffens in the chair beside me. We hadn't planned on telling the world about us.

"Tasha-" I whisper, but the director interrupts me.

"So, Ghost was never dating Captain America," Cap and I shake our heads, "but Ghost and Hawkeye were?" Everybody nods. "Interesting. But I want more details. Who are you guys really? I know Captain America is Steve Rogers, and Bruce Banner, you are the Hulk, Iron Man is Tony Stark and Thor, well, he's Thor. But who are the Black Widow, Hawkeye, and Ghost? Who are you three really?"

I'm taken aback by the question. "That's classified information." Clint says slowly and the director shakes his head.

"No, if you want that old rumor gone, then you need to provide answers."

"Fine." I sit up straight, not taking off my sunglasses. "My name is Cassandra Honore. This here is Zachary Bagher, and this is Samantha Bower."

"Good. Now, I won't reveal your names to the public, to keep it private, and I will take off that first rumor and get around that you, Cassandra, and you, Zachary, are together. Thank you for your cooperation, and I hope to know more about you in the future."

At Avenger's Tower

We all sit down in the living room, perched around the television as the news was about to come on. I leaned forward, perching my chin on Clint's head since he was seated on the floor in front of me, my legs over his shoulders.

The logo for the station comes on and every watches as the two main reporters take over, telling of the main stories for the night, and one of the pictures that popped up was of the Avengers, when we were in a circle on the street. "And breaking news about one of our favorite heroes, later."

I sigh and tap my fingers, which just so happened to be on Clint's head. "We're like the last story." I grumble and he nods. "So, who's buying dinner?"

"You suggested it." Tony proclaimed and I nodded.

"So true." I look down at Clint. "What do you want to eat?"

"Whatever you want to eat." Clint answers and I sigh.

        "I'll just order some Chinese."

"Deal." Clint hands me the tablet and I order some take-out from Panda Express. After taking orders from the Avengers in the room.

When it arrives, I make Tony go and get it, since the segment on me finally came up. I turn the volume up. "Everybody knows of the Battle for New York and the Avengers, and it may seem that Ghost, who was supposedly together with Captain America, is now with Hawkeye, her other fellow male Avenger that is spectacular at archery, and also a fellow agent. Now, we go to Tammy Brown at Stark Tower, who has Mr. Stark himself talking to her."

The camera moves to accommodate Tony onto the screen also, who was holding the take-out. "Now, Mr. Stark, do you have anything to report on this situation?" Tammy Brown questions.

        "For what?"

"This ghost girl. Who is she dating or is she that type of girl that just jumps around from guy to guy?"

"Ghost girl? That's what people are calling her? Her codename is Ghost, plain and simple."

        "Then what's her real name?"

Tony smirks. "I'm not one to kiss and tell."

        "And is she?"

"No. She and Hawkeye have been together for so long it's almost sickening. They were together before the Avengers even started, before Ghost even met Captain America."

"So, Ghost and Captain America never had an affair?"

"No, Ghost and Cap are not those type of people."

"Do you have anything else to tell us about this whole thing?"

"Yeah." Tony looks right into the camera. "Stay out of our personal lives so that we can keep protecting you." And with that, Tony walks into the elevator, Tammy Brown shocked, not knowing what to say, so the screen just goes to the news logo before the main reporters take over in the station.

"Well, there you have it, Manhattan. The news now, the news forever." Then the show ends.

I just stare at the T.V. until the elevator door opens and Tony steps out, the smell of food floating around the room like a delicious perfume. "Food's here." Tony remarks, probably trying to keep it cool.

"You told them off." I whisper, turning to look at him as Clint stood up, going over to grab our food, Natasha and Steve going too. Tony was already walking over. "Thanks, by the way. For what you said."

"I told them the truth. Now move, you're in my spot."
