Landon P.O.V

I'm outside trying to drink away my jealousy from "vampire captain america" when someone just swipes my beer away from my hand.

"Hey!" I said

"Sorry I was just looking for a place to think" said Penelope Park

"I don't think you've ever spoken to me before" i said

"Well you've never had free booze before" she said back

I just stayed quiet in defeat.

"So what sorrows are we drowning" she asks

I hesitate in telling her but then as she hands me the beer back, i just decided to spill everything because what the heck.

"Well Hope lied to me about meeting my mother, it turns out that her, Mr. Saltzman and I met my mom but I guess  the only person that remembered was Hope and she ended up being tossed into Malivore, and I'm just supposed to walk in their and escort her and pretend nothing happened?" I said

She looked out into garden and took back the beer taking a big gulp of it.

"I guess not everyone is honest as they say they are" she said

"What sorrows are you drowning?" I asked

"Well I've been thinking about leaving the school because there's no point in being here anymore, I only stayed for Josie but she doesn't care about taking care of herself only taking care of her sister. You know that's why I broke up with her, i needed her to be stronger because when she's older she's going to need it" she says taking another big gulp of beer

"I think we both have issues that need to be solved, i think that you should just talk to Josie tell her how you really feel and see what she says" i said

"And you need to talk to Hope, listen to her and she'll explain why she did everything she did" she said

"Thanks Penelope, good chat with you, hopefully we do it more often" i said and began standing up to head back inside

"You too Kirby" she said back

Penelope's P.O.V

After I finished Landon's beer i took his advise and went back inside, I'm Josie's escort so i needed to be there.

"Sorry, excuse me, pardon me" i said walking passed the people to meet Josie

"What are you doing here?" Josie said with bitterness

"Well MG is MIA so you get me" i say smiling at her, she just rolled her eyes

"So what are you going to do?" I asked

"Well I'm going to take a literal fall and take out Lizzie's closest competitor" she said

"Josie you are so much better than that, I know that Lizzie doesn't think that you could win, but I do" i said looking at her with so much love

We started descending down the stairs a little bit

"You deserve to walk down these stairs with your head held high, just like your mom" i think that, that part got her thinking

"Next is Ms. Josette Saltzman escorted by Ms. Penelope Park"

We started walking down and I couldnt keep my eyes off of her she just looked so beautiful.

Josie's P.O.V

What Penelope said about my mom got me thinking, i do deserve to win. So as we walked down to the bottom of the stairs I paused and looked at Penelope.
I smiled at her and whispered
"Catch me" she looked confused but as I was beginning to fall Penelope catched me we both looked into eachothers eyes  and we both started to lean in. As our lips locked I knew Lizzie was watching but I don't care I deserve this. As we pulled away from eachother and started walking to our positions to dance I said

"I love you Penelope Park" she had the biggest smile on her face

Penelope's P.O.V

"I love you Penelope Park"

As she said that I could tell that I had the biggest smile on my face. And i knew I finally got through to her and I knew that I did not need to move schools anymore.

"I love you too Josette Saltzman" i said with the biggest smile on my face
