Forgotten castaways (Chapter 13)

Introduction

*Flashback*

"I can't believe this is the last time we will all be here together .. in this place..." Megan sighed "I know I remember how it all started" Eleanor joined in sounding cheerful but also sounding devastated "We are really going to miss you Sav .. " they both said as they turned to look at Sav. "I know guys...I'm going to miss you both so much" Savannah sighed as she rested her head on her arms. "We're going to miss you too" Eleanor smiled a little as she rested her arm around Savannah giving her a little hug.

"Me too!" Megan Shouted a little as she joined Eleanor and savannah, "Have you told Jacob about the news yet?" Megan asked as she pulled away from the hug. Savannah let out a sigh as she turned her head the other way "I'll take that as you haven't... Savannah his your guy bestfriend.. he has the right to know" Megan sighed out of Concern.

"I know... but how can I possibly break the news to him that.. I'm leaving and there's a possible chance I won't be coming back? I can't do it I can't break that news to him.."

"Sav... Meg is right.. he does have the right to know... how much longer can you keep it from him?" Eleanor spoke up

"I don't know..." Savannah sighed "but I kept this mermaid secret away from him.

"That's different... no one can know about this.. this is our secret and you know that" Megan snapped

"Well what am I suppose to do Meg?" Savannah questioned her " You need to tell him before he finds out from someone else.." she sighed as she dipped her head under the water before swimming of.

Savannah looked at Eleanor hoping she would have her back, Eleanor shrugged her shoulders as she looked back at Savannah "Meg is right Sav... he needs to hear it from you.. no one else.."

Savannah looked down as she felt a few tears fall down her cheek "I know.... but I just don't know how to break the news to him... it's going to break me.."

"I know but imagine him hearing it from someone else...that will break him more" Eleanor said as she placed a hand on Savannah's shoulder "We should probably get going.. we're meant to be meeting at the cafe.. and if we're late there going to wonder where we got to" she laughs a little.

*A while later*

Eleanor and Savannah starts to head towards the cafe, were they would always meet for meet ups and gossips; the usual. Savannah stopped at the front before going inside. "Cmon you will be fine" Eleanor smiled as she held her hand out.  Savannah let out a smile and sigh at the same time as she grabbed Eleanor's hand "I know I'm just going to miss this place... we had so many good times here"

"I know" Eleanor smiled. As Savannah and Eleanor walked inside they headed towards a table where Megan was sat with four young boys. "Took your time didn't you" Jake laughed "Yup... just something you won't understand" Eleanor said back sarcastically with a smile as she sat down next to Noah.

"You girls are so confusing" Jake said as he shook his head as he went back to his phone. "Aren't you going to sit down Savannah?" Tom asked

"Yeah" she sighed as she sat down next to Jacob. Jacob looked up savannah and noticed something wasn't right.. he has noticed for the past few days that she wasn't her usual bubbly self but he didn't want to question it.. he knew she was hiding something. "Are you okay?" He asked looking up from his phone?

"I'm fine" she smiled a little "absolutely fine"

While everyone was in there own conversations.. Savannah sat quietly in a world of her own as she looked down twiddling with her thumbs
