Chapter 14

"What are you doing here?" She asked

"I came to see if you were okay" Tom asked as he turned around facing Savannah.

Savannah let out a nod with a confused look on her face "I just wondered why was you in rush when it was raining" he chuckled stepping towards her. Savannah looked at him has she took a few steps back "I'm fine.. I just wanted to go home before it started to rain"

"But why did you run in to the sea" he chuckled more as stepped more towards her "Um..."she stuttered " I fancied a swim" she chuckled sounding unconvincingly.

"Is everything okay Sav?" Tom asked looking confused as he stood right in front of her. "I'm fine Tom" she sighed looking down. "Are you though?" He asked

Savannah nodded her as she still looked down "I'm fine.. I gotta go.."

Savannah turned on her heel and started to head back inside until she felt Tom grabbed her hand "Tom... what are you doin?" She snapped pulling her hand away "You're with Megan... one of my best friends.. what is the deal?"

"I'm just trying to help Sav..I'm sorry?" Tom shrugged "You've changed"

"People change Tom that's just how life works" she sighed walking in to her house closing the door behind her.

As Savannah headed back upstairs she flopped herself on the bed, a million thoughts going through her head, she had so much going on she didn't have the strength to do anything it was as if it was draining the energy out of her. All she knew is that she wanted everything to go back to normal to how it used to be, her friendship with Jacob to go back to normal, her friendship with Meg. The more she realised keeping this deep secret was more hard than she thought, it was getting to much for her, she started to question was this what she really wanted.

                             The next day         

"We should head out for a swim later" El smiled as all three girls was walking out of school "sounds like a plan to me" Megan smiled "Are you down for it?" She asked turning to look at Savannah.

Savannah sighed and shook her head "I would guys but... I promised my dad I'd look after Ellie"

"We could always wait for you?" Eleanor smiled

"No guys honestly it's fine... you go ahead and have a swim" she smiled.

"Suit yourself" Megan smiled as Eleanor and her self headed of to the beach leaving Savannah on her own.

As Savannah started walking getting caught up in her thoughts and going of in her own little day dream, she clearly wasn't looking or paying attention to where she was walking.

"Ow!" a male voice yelled out.

Savannah looked up and shook her head to see Jacob "I'm sorry" she mumbled before carrying on walking. "Savannah.." he sighed "Wait up!" He shouted as he ran after catching up with her.

"Why so you can have another go at me?" She replied bluntly looking at him with no facial expression what so ever.

"Sav... don't start" he sighed as he sorted his cap out "Start what?" She snapped "This... I'm trying to talk to you and you're snapping at me"

"I'm not snapping"

Jacob took hold of her hand and pulled her back to stop her from walking "please can we just talk?" He said as he pulled her so she's facing to towards him.

"There's Nothing to talk about" she softly sighed as she looked away clearly avoiding eye contact. "Sav.. I'm just going to say it and I don't want it to effect our friendship...I'm happy with Sam and if you was a true friend you'd support and respect my decision... I'd do the same for you"
