Chapter 16

"Have you seen savannah today?" Eleanor asked Megan as they walked along the beach.

Megan paused for a short moment before shaking her head "come to think of it I haven't seen her"

"Do you think Jacob maybe has grown the balls and spoken to her?" Megan asked as she stopped walking

Eleanor let out a chuckle "are you serious? With Sam breathing down his neck every two seconds I don't think he will"

Megan let out a sigh "Anyway... I kinda have to go... I'm made plans with Tom so I'll catch you up in about an hour?"

Eleanor smiled and nodded her head "yeah sure! Meet you here?"

Megan smiled and nodded her head before walking of to meet Tom. As Eleanor Carried on walking she heard a name being shouted as she turned around she saw Noah running up to her.

"Hey" she smiled softly "Hey" he smiled back trying to catch his breathe.

Eleanor turned to him and let out a chuckle before sitting down on the sand. "I need to talk to you about something El" Noah sighed nervously as he sat down next to her.

"Sure what up" she smiled as she played with the sand.  "Okay..."Noah replied taking a deep breathe before he started to talk "I don't know how this is going to sound or what you're going to say but I can't keep it in any longer...but I really like you, you're funny, honest, caring, the most kindest hearted person I ever come across and the kiss we shared I have never stopped thinking about it since.."Noah sighed "What I'm trying to say is that... I really would you to be my girlfriend"

Eleanor could feel her self burning up as a smile formed on to her face. "Please say something" Noah pleaded as he turned to Eleanor.

Eleanor turned around to face him with a huge smile on her face, she didn't say anything, she smiled as she leaned in and placed a soft kiss on his lips, as she smiled pulling away "does that give you an answer"

Noah let out a soft smile as he pulled her close to him and kissed her softly.

Meanwhile savannah was upstairs listening to music while doing her homework, she hadn't really seen, the girls or the boys in days all she's been really doing was going to school come home do her her home work and sleep, she didn't really for her usual swim, she just wasn't feeling it.

As savannah was upstairs, her dad was downstairs getting ready for work as he was about to leave he heard a knock on the door.

"Oh hey Jacob we haven't seen you around here for a long time" her dad smiled as he welcomed him in. "I would love to stop and talk but I'm already in a rush, she's upstairs in her room please try and get her out of the house" he said as he rushed out of the door.

Jacob let our a chuckle before heading up to Savannah's room, he was feeling quiet nervous as he wasn't sure what kind of response he was going to get from her as he reached her door, he knocked a few times but there was no answer. He let out sigh thinking she's probably ignoring him so he tried again and this time he walked in to see her with her headphones in.

A wave of relief ran through Jacob, he started to walk over slowly and tapped her, Savannah let out a jump and sighed "Dad I told you I'm fine I'm just doing my home work"

"Hey Sav" Jacob softly spoke with a smile, savannah froze and turned around slowly "Your dad let me in and he told me you were up here.. we haven't seen you in day Sav we was getting worried"

Savannah rolled her eyes "I'm fine I'm just focusing on school work.. so please if you don't mind you know where the door is" she sighed as she turned back to her home work.

Jacob let our a deep sigh "Whether you like it or not we're going to sort this out" he spoke as he turned her back around, inches away from her face.

"There's nothing to sort out" She stuttered looking up at him"

"Well I think there is and I've got a lot to get of my chest"

"Go on then..."

"Why have you become so distant with me? We used to be so close we practically told each other everything, we did everything together but since you come back you've changed you do the complete opposite and it actually hurts."

Savannah let out a sigh and looked away "I'm sorry okay.. I have stuff going on... I don't mean to push you away, It wasn't intentional"

"Then speak to me about it... let me help you" He sighed as he lifted her head up turning it to face him.

"J.." she sighed softly  "Yeah" he smiled hoping she was finally going to open up to him and tell him what's exactly been going on and how she's feeling.

Savannah took a deep breathe "it's not your job to save me anymore" she sighed sadly as she moved his hand and looked down.

Jacob took a deep sigh sounding pretty annoyed "Maybe I want it to be my job, Sav I have known you since we were little, I've been there for you through everything to when you fell over and grazed your knee to when we went to school to when your mum left, I have been there and I've always helped you back up, I want it to be my job..."

Savannah looked up at him speechless not knowing what to say because she knew deep down what he was saying was true and deep down she really did want him to be the one to save her and to protect her.

"So please start opening up to me and start being honest just like you used to?"He smiled softly

Savannah nodded her head slowly before looking away "I thought you'd be with Sam anyway..." she mumbled

"Can we please not talk about Sam? I came here to see if you're okay and to spend time with you not talk about her"

Savannah turned to face him and couldn't help but let out a smile. "So what's been going on.. why have you been distant with me?"

"I haven't" Savannah spoke quickly before shaking her head as she bit her lip

"Liar" Jacob smirked

"I'm not lying..."savannah replied doing the same thing with her lip

"Savannah I have known you since the age of 2 I know when you're lying" he chuckled shaking his head

"Oh yeah how?" She replied getting cocky as she folded her arms "When you bite your bottom lip and talk really fast" he smirked.

"So are you going to tell me..?"

"I don't know.."Savannah sighed "Just ever since you got with Sam I just feel like you don't want to know me anymore like you just wanna spend time with her"

"Well I'm sorry you feel that way but it's not true.. I always want to spend time with you it's just when she's so clingy 24/7.... you have no idea how hard it was to get away from her for a couple of hours" he laughed

"How did you?" She asked

"Let's just say Jake is keeping her entertained" he laughed.. "Anyway... what home work are you doing" He asked he turned her back round and leaning over her. "Um..." she stuttered nervously "Maths"

Jacob looked over and smiled and whispered in her ear "Why do I have a feeling I make you nervous?"

Savannah stood up quickly from her chair and  turning to face him stepping her self back from him "For your information... I'm not nervous around.. you"

As savannah was talking Jacob started to walk closer to her making her feel more nervous and making her stutter even more.

"Jacob.. what are you doing?" She stuttered

Jacob didn't reply he just carried on walking towards her.

As Jacob came face to face to savannah there was a moment of a silence, as she looked in to his eyes and he looked in to hers  she felt both hands placed on to her waist pulling her in to him, he let out a smile before leaning up and whispered in her ear "I like you to"
