Chapter 17

Savannah was taken back by what she just heard Jacob had said.. in her heart she felt happy.. but in her mind she knew it wasn't fair or right for Sam, even though she wasn't huge fan of her and she knew Sam felt the same way she wouldn't want to hurt anyone like that. She let out a deep sigh before looking away "Jacob.." she mumbled

Mhmm?"Jacob smiled as he pulled a closer stroking her waist. "You need to stop" she said quietly. But Jacob didn't hear he just kept on stroking her waist holding her close, as much as Savannah wanted to hug him back she just couldn't because she knew deep down what would happen next.

"Jacob you need to stop" she snapped pulling away leaving Jacob with a confused look on his face "you need to stop... please" she said

"What do you mean Sav? I thought you liked me.." Jacob questioned her.

"I think you need to go.." she spoke quietly looking down

"Not until you start being honest and open with me.. I know you like me to..why are you so afraid of telling me?" Jacob spoke softly to her.

Savannah felt a sudden rush of adrenaline inside her and she couldn't control what was going to come out of her mouth "okay... I like you" she spurted out. She looked up Jacob letting out a big grin "Don't do that... "she said shaking her head.

"Do what?" Jacob replies still grinning "grinning at me like that" she replied  trying her best not to smile or give in but Jacob carried on grinning at her.

"Jacob stoooooop!!" She chuckles softly picking up her pillow and throwing it at him.

"Heeeey!!" He chuckled "what was that for?!" He said as he picked up the pillow as he walked up to her.

"For being annoying, for giving me that grin" she chuckles softly.

Jacob walked up to Savannah as he chucked her pillow back on the bed before standing in front of her. "You like me" he grinned placing his hands back on her waist.

"Yeaaaaaah I know" she laughed slightly before removing his hands "But you have a girlfriend" she stated.

"What if I broke up with her?" He asked

"Jacob" she said furrowing her eyebrows "you can't just break up with someone because someone else likes you... she doesn't deserve that.. no one does"

Jacob let out a deep sigh before putting his hands back on her waist "yeah but... you're not just anyone else.. you're my bestfriend, the one whose always been there, supported me, build me up, made me laugh, made me happy, you've been through everything"

Savannah stood there speechless not knowing what to reply back to, even though she knew what he said was true.. but she knew she couldn't go there with him knowing he was with someone else

"Look I get you... I do but you can't just break up with her..: she likes you and yeah you shouldn't just break up with her for one reason"

"Sav" he spoke rubbing her sides "That's not the only reason.. you get me.. she doesn't.. I want to atleast share my life with someone who appreciates me"

"Yeah? And what if we don't work? What if we ruin our friendship?" She questioned him

"Then that's a risk I'm willing to take" he said looking in her eyes "Look Sav.. I'd do absolutely anything for you, you mean so so so much to me, and when you left it broke me because that's when I knew I had feelings for you and that I needed you to be mine, you make me so happy more than anyone has ever done before"

Savannah looked down pressing her forehead against his "J... you need to know that even if I felt the same... I mean look what if we did give it ago but we didn't work? Our friendship would be ruined"

"Like I said that's a risk I'm willing to take if you are" he spoke lowly but softly as he pressed his forehead against hers;stroking her waist"

Savannah pulled away "But what about Sam.."

"Don't worry about her... I'm sure she will find someone who will love her and who will appreciate her, there's plenty of fish in the sea" he chuckled

"I guess.." she spoke looking down

"Just give me a chance?" He spoke softly as he kissed her cheek softly multiple of times"

She looked up slowly and nodded her head and responded quietly looking up at him  "okay I will"

He let out a soft smile as he placed a soft kiss on her collarbone.

                                 Meanwhile

Meanwhile, while Jake was entertaining Sam he couldn't keep her entertained much longer.. even though he tried he just couldn't.

"Look Jake.. as much as your jokes are somewhat funny.. I need to find Jacob.." Sam said getting annoyed with him

"Look just stay for 5 more minutes? I'm sure he will ring you when his free?" Jake panicked

Sam took a deep breath and turned to Jake "What's going on?" She demanded

Jake looked at her confused and let out a confuse little chuckle "what are you talking about? Nothing is going on? What makes you think that?"

"Ummmmm" she started by rubbing her chin "because you never really speak to me or make a conversation with me.. so tell me what's going on? Where is Jacob?"

Jake shrugged and looked around trying to avoid making eye contact with her "I have no idea what you're talking about"

"Jake!" She snapped

But Jake wasn't giving in, he just kept looking at her giving her the same old cheeky grin.

"Fine" she said bluntly "I'll go find him myself" she said starting to walk of.

"Nooooo wait you can't! "Jake shouted as he ran after her.

Sam suddenly stopped and turned around "Where is my boyfriend?" She asked sternly.

Jakes took a deep breath before telling her his with Savannah.

"His with savannah..."
