"Oh no"

Wesley rolled over and slowly opened his eyes. His body was sore from the dance and all the events that came with it. The dance.... the dress..... the kiss..... all seemed perfect. Wesley grabbed his phone to look at the time. The screen blinded him at first but quickly subsided. He looked at the screen to see that he already had a missed call from Peter. he sat there for a minute before it actually dawned on him that peter had called him.

"It's 8:30 how is this possible?" He thought to himself. Wesley swiped over and called Peter back. It seemed to ring for awhile but it was early in the morning so he may have been tired. it kept ringing and Wesley began falling asleep again......then he answered.

"Hey."

"Hey Pete..."

"Sorry that I called so early."

"It's fine.... it's just that I'll probably never answer that early."

"Ha ha I don't blame you."

"Is there something that you needed to tell me?"

"Uh ya...... about last night."

Wesley's heart broke a little. He knew what Peter was going to say. Wesley really liked Peter and he was scared that he likes a guy and may not even be with him. with pain in his heart he took a deep breath and continued with the conversation.

"Yeah...... was it a mistake?"

"NO. I was just going to tell you that there are pictures of us all over social media."

" Oh ok........................WAIT WHAT?!?!?!?!"

" yeah I guess a lot of people either filmed us or took pictures of us kissing. That girl that took pictures of you and I with a backdrop also posted them."

"so, you mean, everyone is going to see what happened last night?"

" sadly yes."

"sadly?"

" well don't you want to keep us a secret"

" what......no. I want to tell people but we have to do it slowly because of how others view gays."

" Oh."

"yeah but I guess all we can do is embrace it."

Wesley was super relieved that peter didn't think last night was a mistake. with the relief came lots of worry. His heartrate sped up at the thought of seeing how other people reacted to the photos.

Wesley was shoved out of his thoughts when he got another call.

" Hey pete........I gotta go Yvonne is calling me."

"ok one thing.................will you go out with me?"

"...............YES !!!!!!! I mean yeah sounds great."

"HAHA ok....bye."

The two hung up and Wesley answered Yvonnes call.

"WESLEY.......PEOPLE..."

"yes I know they have pictures."

"THEY ARE ON..."

" social media I know."

" Why aren't you freaking out?"

" Why would I? there isn't anything I can do. Besides it's not like people lied..... Peter and I did kiss."

" but people are saying you're dating."

" again, not a lie we are."

"wait what?"
