It's been many months since me and Nagito have been more open about our relationship. It was tough, but I pushed through the ups and downs. Some people didn't approve, but I managed to protect me and Nagito from the hate, but so far, everything seemed to be going fine.
"Hinata-kun! I missed you so much!" Nagito jumped on me and hugged me to I fell on the concrete where I had started making my way home.
"It's fine, we were only separated in class, you know." I chuckled as I dusted myself off, standing up.
"Come on, let's go!" Nagito quickly pulled my arm to home. He did seem a little more enthusiastic than usual.
"Woah, that was tiring.. I could barely keep up with you.." I sighed, reaching for the couch.
"Sorry..." Nagito stopped.
"Hey, it's okay! I'm just worn out, that's all." I assured him while putting my arms around him to pull Nagito in a kiss.
"My bad luck is rubbing off on you, it's my fault." Nagito looked up at me with his innocent eyes that looked like were about to tear up.
"Man, you never stop bad-mouthing yourself." I sighed and let go of him, "Why were you so excited?"
"Oh yeah!" Nagito's eyes lit up and he pointed his finger upwards, "Sonia is hosting a party and I will go with you."
"I thought you didn't like loud places." I surprisingly said.
"I'm trying to get better, okay?" Nagito puffed his cheeks up.
"I'm glad you're trying to put yourself out there so I'll come to protect you." I smiled at him while Nagito grabbed my hand tightly.
"Thank you!" He squeaked.
That night we arrived at a mansion that was supposed to be Sonia's. As we entered the place was filled with people. I turned to Nagito and saw he was trying to sneak away.
"Where do you think you're going? You were the one who suggested this." I sighed as I quickly grabbed him by the hood.
"Y-yeah, but I changed my mind-" I cut him off by picking him up bridal style and bringing him inside.
"You're going anyways!" I shouted inside because it was nearly impossible to hear due to the amount of people.
"Heyyyyy Hajime.." I heard a voice coming from not far away and realized it came from a sober Teruteru.
"Teruteru, are you okay?" I set Nagito down who quickly disappeared into the crowd.
"I'm just fine, yep! Yep! Yep!" As he assured me he was fine, his face just got redder and redder until he looked like he was about to explode.
"Okay, I need to find Nagito." I worriedly turned around.
"Is Nagito an animal?" Teruteru questioned, but I ignored him and quickly started to look around for him.
I then backed rushed up a pack of stairs to see a red haired boy with a small beard who pinned Nagito to a wall. I could nearly make out their conversation, but what I did hear was:
"Hey cutie, are you here alone?" The boy asked, obviously scaring Nagito based off his expression.
"No.. I came here with someone.. N-now let me go." He tried to act tough, but the red head quickly caught on.
"Come on, lighten up will ya?" He stopped.
"Your hope is disgraceful, go away." Nagito glared him in the eyes. The red haired boy then gave off a despairful aura.
