Will's POV:

I slowly get up from my chair and follow the doctor to the conference room.  At this point I'm very nervous and scared. I try to brace myself for what's about to happen.  "Thank you for joining me Mrs. and Mr. Lenney. Like I said my team and i had came up with a solution. But it's going to be very risky and it will lead to some problems later in his life, but maybe those can be fixed later on. And I need your full permission for us to do this procedure. So, let me explain to you what we are going to do and the complications that will happen later on."

"So basically your son has a big chunk of the table he hit in his head and lodged into his brain and we need to remove that as soon as possible. So, we are planning to remove the table chunk, but for us to do that we would need to remove some part of the brain.  And that's where the complications will happen. The part of the brain that we would need remove is the part that holds his maturity and growth. And if we remove that, the maturity in his brain will not develop. His maturity will probably only grow up till 10. But it won't grow any farther due to the removal.  And he will possibly go through life with a mind of a child.  But we are hoping through these years we can come up with a plan to make his brain right" but that will take a very long time. Maybe up till he is legal adult. And I will give you have some time to think about this, but I ask you to come up with a plan soon as your son doesn't have long  to last with that still in his brain."

As soon as the doctor leaves me and Georgia look up at each other.  Georgia looks out at me with tears are in her eyes and says.  "Will it looks like we don't have a choice..we have to do this.  We have to do this for Alex even though he might go through life with the mind of a child. We have to. I'd rather have him with the mind of a child then not living at all."

I look up at Georgina as to say ok.  "You're right this is our only choice.   This is what's going to happen that and I'm OK with it.  I rather have him alive than dead," I say.

As time goes by we end up telling the doctor  to do the procedure.  He nods and back with his team to do with the procedure and me and Georgia are left in the conference room.  To sit there and wait for the best.
