All about Parsnip ~chapter 31~

Elias's P.o.v
I was sitting in the living room playing with Parsnip my rabbit while mommy and daddy were in the kitchen making breakfast. I love Parsnip he's so fluffy and fun to play with.

This morning was a little different though, it started as usual sitting watching Parsnip run around me while I watch Octonauts but then I heard a funny noise behind me. So of course I was curious and turned around... I don't think I'll ever be able to forget what I saw ;-;

Parsnip had launched himself onto my red balloon that auntie Kayano had gotten me and was...humping it? It was weird like his tail was like doing something funny and he had his little stubs over the edge of the balloon.

I sat there semi amused but then I got a bit disturbed so I called mom and dad.
"Mommy! Daddy!!" I shouted through to the kitchen,

"Yes?!" Mommy said running into the living room desperately thinking I'd hurt myself,

I said nothing... and just pointed at Parsnip who was again... humping? the balloon.
"Uh... Karma?" Mommy called through to daddy,

"Yeah" he responded from his place in the kitchen,

"Um... well Parsnip is kinda ya know... humping Elias's balloon..." mom said scratching the back of his neck,

"What?!" Daddy said before running and swing the sight before him, "Ah um Yeah Elias can you go to your room for a sec while me and mommy talk?" Daddy asked,

"Why? I was here first you guys can be the ones to move" I complained looking back to the tv enjoying the episode,

"Right well..." mommy trailed of,

Daddy just took his hand and pulled him into there room. I was expecting to hear ya know... things ;-; but instead i was just met by my mommy and daddy talking.

Karma's P.o.v
As soon as I pulled Nagisa into my room we started to talk.
"We can't have Parsnip doing things like that around the room" I said leaning against the door,

"Yeah I agree"

"Then what do we do?"

"We could always get him a friend, male! Friend... just so ya know we don't have little bunny's running around the house," I smiled at Nagisa happy that he was the one dealing with this instead of myself.

We both got to work looking at different places we could adopt another bunny. Nagisa suddenly called me over to take a look at what he found.
"Karma look! We need to get him!" Nagisa said with urgency,

I took a look at the bunny on the screen and saw a small dark green coloured one curled up and looking absolutely petrified. The description said that the rabbit was going to be put down if no one took it in. I sighed knowing even if I didn't want it I would still loose the fight so I gave in and told Nagisa that he could get it.

Skip 3 weeks,

Soon enough our small bundle of green fluff arrived. I didn't really notice in the pictures but the bunny was really, really fluffy. We signed a few letters and sheets and then the lady walked away. Nagisa immediately picked the bundle of green up and took him over to Elias.
"Elias, look this is another little friend we got you," Nagisa smiled down at Elias who's face lit up, "what do you want to name it?" Nagisa asked,

Elias had to think on that for a while before coming up with, "Deku!" He cheered smiling,

"Wait- But doesn't that mean useless" I said looking down at the green fluff,

"Yeah it does but the name suits him!" Elias said trying to make a point,

"Well if that's what you want to make him then sure," Nagisa said smiling,

"YAY!!" Elias cheered starting to pet him new bundle of pure fluff.

Over the past few days Deku settled into the house he also seemingly got along with Kayano and Nakamura's red and white cat.

We had found that Deku was a really good friend for Parsnip. They both were happy to get along and they were happy to play as well.

Me and Nagisa were sitting in the lounge watching CBeebies with Elias when Nagisa got a call. I picked it up immediately and went out the room. All we could hear was,
"Hay!...mhm.... yup! No definitely... oh no thanks so much your an absolute life saver!... yeah okay thanks... yup okay bye!!" Then Nagisa walked back into the room smiling.

"Who was that?" I asked,

"That was the daycare"
