It was the next morning and I was walking to school. I then noticed Leila.
"Hey Leila!" I called out.
She turned around and smiled.
"Morning Nailah," Leila said.
"Morning. So, what are you doing here?" I asked.
"I've come to take you to Elaria for your training."
It took me a while to realize what she said.
"Wait, I can't skip school," I said.
"Don't worry. I told the principal what you'll be doing the whole day," Leila said.
"You told her I was a Dragon Blood!?"
"Yeah, and she was willing to help in anyway possible."
"Wait... The principal is a Dragon Blood, too!?"
"She's also my aunt."
I blinked in surprise and confusion.
"That's... incredible! So, we're leaving now?" I asked.
"The sooner the better." Leila said.
I took hold of Leila's hand and teleported us to Elaria. When we arrived, we were back in Cadazar Arena. I quickly transformed into my dragon self before the others got here. Few minutes later, Vincent, Prismarine, and the other Dragon Trainers arrived.
"You two are here early." Apollo said.
"Good morning to you, too, Apollo," I said with an annoyed tone.
"So, you ready for more training?" Eva asked.
"Absolutely! So, who's going to train me this time?"
"I am." Laura said, walking up to me.
I smiled and nodded firmly.
"Now that you know how to fly and use your powers, I'm going to teach you how to spot out weaknesses, and how to use them to your advantage. Get it?" Laura asked.
"Yup," I said.
"Take a look at me. I look easy to beat, right?"
"Yeah."
"And that's where you're wrong. Now, throw a punch at me."
It took me a while to realize what she just said.
"Wait, why?" I asked.
"Trust me." Laura said.
I shrugged and turned my hand into a fist. I pulled back and then threw my punch. Laura grabbed it before it hit her face, and tripped me. I looked up at her in confusion.
"Just from that I know your weakness. You hesitate on your attacks. You need to be quick. If this was a real battle, you'd probably be dead by now." Laura said.
Then, Laura's back met the ground.
While she was talking, let's just say I tripped her up.
"And I know your weakness. You let your guard too easily after you think your opponent is down for the count. If this was a real battle, you'd probably be dead by now." I said with a wink.
I held out my hand to help her up, and she accepted it.
"That was amazing, Nailah! If you can point out your opponent's weakness AND catch them off guard, you're bound to win." Laura said.
I happily agreed. Then, Vincent grunted.
"That was great, Nailah."
"Thanks, Vince." I said.
