"so we need to get up there, but all if us going isn't the safest idea" Morgan points out.

"But if we don't we'll lose more kids" JJ adds

"So what now?" Rossi asks.

"We can't send Dave nor myself" Hotch says.

"I'm not that old" Rossi pouts.

"Whatever, veteran" Emily laughs.

"What about me? I can go" Esmée speaks up.

"No way baby girl, ill go"

"You shouldn't go by yourself, the probability of you getting down is less than—" Ried starts.

"Pretty boy don't scare our pants off and we haven't gotten up there yet", Morgan teases.

"We?" Emily asks.

"Ried said I can't go by myself"

"Then take me with you. But we'll need coats. Good ones to that mountain is a snow cap", Esmée said looking out the station window.

"He said no Esmée" JJ sneers

"Actually taking her with you isn't a bad idea. You guys will have to look after each other"

"Pretty boy, you in?" Esmée looked at Ried.

"I don't think-" hotch starts

"We could use his brains. What if we get stuck and don't know which way is down, then what" Morgan states.

"Then it's settled. At first light Morgan, Ried, and Couture will be accompanied by a sheriff up the mountain" hotch says. "It's late so I say we go to our hotel rooms and get some sleep"

Everyone breaks and gathers their items.

Esmée waits for everyone to leave before catching up to hotch.

"Is everything alright, Couture?", He asks as she runs up to him

"Um yeah. It's just who am I rooming with?"

He chuckled softly.

"I thought something was wrong. Let's see...I think Ried is open but he'll talk your ear off. You sure you don't want your own room"

She waited a full minute before answering, it was as if she wasn't here. She just stared.

"Um.. Ried is fine, thank you"

"Are you sure your all right. Is it something we need to have a talk about?"

"Uh no si- Aaron. I'm fine. I just most be tired".

"Okay, we'll get some rest".

"You too and I definitely will. Night"

As she walked away hitch knew there was more to her.

Late in the night the three had joined together in Morgan's hotel room to talk about what could possibly happen on that mountain together.

"So the mountain is pretty high. Do they really live way at the top?", Morgan asked

"I had Garcia go over the address and yeah"

"We're gonna need resources. Coats, uh- extra food, coats, did I say coats?" Ried says quickly

"Do you always talk this fast?" Esmée ask out of curiosity.

"Yeah. All the Time" Morgan laughs.

Ried gives a 'well, shit' expression.

"Hey, it's cute" she said getting up and going towards the bathroom.
