"Jonathon. Wake up." Tarun shook me slightly. I eased open my eyes. Tarun pulled me up and rested me against a rock with a ledge, leaving me with a bowl with a liquid in it. I drank it without hesitation as i caught my breath and tried to process what just happened.
Sheia seemed to be just as shocked as i was. Sheia and Tarun were talking in hushed rushed voices, both sets of eyes were very seriously. Sheia looked back at me from time to time. She seemed like she was discussing wih Tarun abou what to do with me. As if I was a child.
I demanded frustratedly, " Will someone just tell me what is it that you know? Tarun what ij the hell did you see?"
"I did not. I did not see anything. But i did feel something. It is you. You manifest the prophency."
I dropped to my knees. I never thought it would be true. I had assumed that it would be a huge misconception. But it wasnt. I had to save this island. This place that i barely knew. Hell, I barely knew who i was let alone how to save Arancti.
Sheia kneeled before me and grabbed my shoulders. "I know this is a lot to take in. But it is what it is. You have to accept your destiny. You are our only hope."
I failed to keep my tears from leaking out. How would i be able to be the hero they needed? How would i be able to amount to being a hero? I just let Sheia hold me and myself to be sunken in frustration.
