While some Korean media are reporting Sina interviewed Luhan’s father, an original Sina source reveals it was with a friend after his parents refused an interview.

EXO-M’s Luhan’s father has expressed his support for Luhan through an exclusive interview with Sina.

In the interview, Mr. Lu revealed in an exclusive statement to Sina the following:

Though it has come to this [contract nullification], I support whatever makes my son happy. Though there are no certain outcomes, my priority is my son.

He also shared a story about Luhan’s relationship with his parents in terms of his career:

Luhan grew up in a military household, however, his personality is quite open and frank. He was always interested in all sorts of things, such as soccer, but we enrolled him in trade school. When he pursued a career in entertainment, we just encouraged him and gave him our support to go for it as long as he stays healthy, and will continue to do so.

Luhan has recently been revealed to have filed a lawsuit against SM Entertainment, demanding contract nullification. This has triggered a landslide of events and responses, including SM Entertainment’s stocks plummeting significantly and out-raged fans.
