The boy punched me in the side of my body and I fell with a loud thump onto the ground. I yelped and the others who were watching hysterically laughed at me. The boy to my left kicked me hard into the shin and my legs. I was sure there was going to be a bruise left over. The boy on the left kicked me hard into my arm and shoulders while the other boys surrounded me and attacked me on the back beating me.
It was horrible, but I've gotten used to the pain since this happened frequently. This week has been the worst week yet since I've been attacked multiple times this week and especially today. I would usually just pass out from the exhaustion of trying to hold them back or either faint. Either one works, since it gets me away from seeing what is happening and the hurt it causes me. I'd rather not know how badly then beat me and to try to fight my way through all the emotions it causes me.
After a couple more minutes passed by, the boys started getting tired of kicking and punching me and slowed down. They then sighed in exhaustion, backed away, and then ran back to their classes.
I slowly maneuvered my way out of the huddle that I was in, and stretched my limbs. I scanned my body, nothing looked to be broken or felt broken, but there were massive bruises on some parts of my body. I tried really hard to stand up from the floor but it was difficult since my leg was in bad shape. I fell straight back down and then gasped with pain. I made a second attempt afterward to stand up and it was successful. I straightened up my clothing and dusted my pants.
I limped over to my locker on the other side of the hallway and shoved my books into it. I closed it and headed to my next class. I was already used to the beatings every single day, but sometimes I thought it was way too much. I thought to myself, don't they get bored of beating me every single day? I sighed, life was difficult for me.
I walked past the office to my next class. I shuffled into the classroom and hurried to the back of the room. I always grabbed the seat farthest away that didn't have a student already in it. No ever would ever sit by me, well except my best friend ever, Louis. People believed that if they even tried talking to me or tried to comfort me, they would get a beating themselves or get bullied. Louis was the only exception, though. Louis was the brother of the my worst nightmare ever, the school bully. Chills ran down me even mentioning his name. He was so bad, I thought. I banged my fists against the table.
I barely ever went to Louis's house thought, because then I would have to see his brother. Whenever I did go thought, Louis would make sure that I wasn't going to get hurt from his brother. Louis would beat up his brother anytime that I ever got hurt. He was my hero, I thought. I snickered at the thought of that. The teacher walks in and begins the class lesson after the bell rings. Welp, I guess no one is sitting next to me I thought sadly.
Ms. Bernard began talking about the chemical reactions and the other chemistry stuff that I didn't even care about. I hated school, who even likes school anyway. I definitely don't.
After 40 minutes, the class finally finished up and the bell rang. I ran over to my next class. I carefully went around the hallways trying to avoid the school bully, Aiden. Unfortunately, my next class was with him which was gym. I didn't hate gym, it was nice actually, but I didn't love it or like it. Aiden is in my gym class, but Louis was also in the gym class, so that made it better. Phew I sighed with relief. He will protect me I thought. I can't get bullied while Louis is also in the same gym class.
I quickly ran into the changing room and slipped off my shirt and pants. I threw on a white t-shirt, and some basketball shorts.
Today we were running relay races. Running was fun because it was something that I was very good at. It was something that could block out the world for a couple of seconds or minutes and just focus on running.
We all walked outside right onto the track that was just around the corner of the school. "Alright everyone! It's racing time!" Mrs. Fiora, the gym teacher yelled. "Everybody look at this sheet of paper to find out who your partner for the relay race is." Mrs. Fiora pointed at the sheet that she was holding. Everyone quickly ran over to the sheet and looked at it. I quickly scanned the sheet to see who my partner was. I was crossing my fingers and praying to god it was anyone but Aiden. I guess my luck ran out dry after I saw that my name and Aiden's name were together. I thought to myself, oh god no please please, at least nothing bad happen, please I begged.
