Jiana's POV
School. It was different in the year 2000 but now...in the year 4000...it seems like a nightmare come true. I know what the year 2000 was like because my mother told me what her great great grandmother told her.
She said it was a happy time and yet a sad time. I was told there was a bad sickness that started in that generation. It was heard to have killed lots of people and there wasn't a cure until the year 2780. I feel bad for them but I am great-full for the surviving generation.
Let's stop talking bout that right now, it's probably not a good idea to give you hints about the world change. What I will tell you is that fighting is everywhere here. On the streets, in stores, in school.....and at home. Unfortunately for me, my home isn't a place where people fight.
Our house is like me...invisible. People never come. Never have people wanted to see our amazing garden in the front yard, nor use our amazing pool. It's fine because it leaves stress away from mom and dad. Plus, no one bugging us means dad can keep working and get money for our house.
We may look rich but we aren't. It seems to me that everything in this generation is all about whether you have the right clothes or have lots of money. It always leads to fights if you are poor or don't have the right clothes on. That's why I love being invisible. I can be who I want, learn and read when I want, and I can wear what I want without being in pain because of a fight.
