☆——- ANGELICA'S POV ——-☆

"So, I spoke to her and she doesn't want to go and meet Em. It's not like I want her to... seeing that I myself need to have a proper chat with that redhead." Louis rambled on, grumbling under his breath as he sat beside me and started loudly munching the sandwich I made him.

"You shouldn't talk to her; she doesn't deserve your friendship. Anyways... I am here, right?  I mean we could... spend some quality time together?"

My heart was beating so fast at that moment, wanting to do anything to keep Louis here. Because if he meets Emma and by chance she tells him about the tape or even her going to meet Lottie,  it is all going to come crumbling down on poor ol' me.

Louis had a mischievous spark in his eyes when he spoke again, "Quality time, huh? You're not the sweet innocent Angelina I had falle- met." He suddenly seemed flustered and I looked down at my lap... straightening my skirt as a mere nervous trait.

For a moment I imagined a life, without all this bulls■it about Emma Stone. No Lottie drama and just, me and Louis Tomlinson. I mean yes, I will agree that Charlotte will always remain my priority. But without this entire ruckus I could finally pay more heed to Louis. Angelica and Louis could become AngelicaAndLouis.

"Oi, What are you giggling about?" Louis whispered in my ear and I noticed how we both were now sitting so close to each other, our thighs brushing with every word he spoke.

I could feel my cheeks burning under his gaze, I'm sure my whole face was red like an ugly tomato, "You're so beautiful, Angelica."

"No, I'm not..." I whispered but the second time I said it, my voice wavered as I felt his breath on my cheek. "You know you are..."

His hand moved on mine, which was fisting my skirt at the moment, "Relax..." he spoke again and I released my hand and he slotted his fingers between mine.

My breathing was getting heavy now, almost like I was wheezing and just as I finally looked up, his perfect blue eyes, his pupils a tad bit blown, stared back into mine and I knew what was coming next.

I had seen umpteen romantic movies to know this was leading to a kiss and frankly my whole mind was jumbled up. I'm sure if I tried to say something right now it would turn out to be incoherent.

I just shook my head. I couldn't do it. I moved backwards till I was sitting on the other end of the couch, trying to get my breathing back to normal.

"W-Wha" I could practically see the flabbergasted look on Louis' face behind my closed eyelids, "oh gosh, did I take up the wrong message here? Are we not-"

"No."

"Um okay yeah, totally not awkward." I opened my eyes to look at Louis with his face all scrunched up cutely as if he actually thought doing that would somehow scrunch him out of this situation, which as time passed, turned all the way more awkward and uncomfortable. With a dreadful sigh, he stood up and ran a hand through his hair, "I'm gonna.... go."

I just meekly nodded, no possible reason left to keep him here anymore.

☆——- EMMA'S POV ——-☆

"Just be patient, she'll be here any moment now and you're gonna have the best date ever." I whispered out loud, to nobody in general, my legs dangling as I sat on the window sill. Yes, the very same sill where Charlotte sat down with me and where I experienced one of the best intense kisses of my life. I sighed looking up at the cloudy sky, for god knows how long... just wishing, hoping, praying for that clicking of that stick sounds from behind me and I will smile to myself, knowing she is here, standing up and taking her hand. I'll pull the seat back and sit in front of her at the table I set.

I can't believe I convinced Rachel Allen to cook up some of her best Irish cuisine, well; she owed it to me after the one time I got her a deal with my publicist. Charlotte being Irish, I knew she missed her home cooked meals and this was the best I could get for the girl who added a sparkle of glitter in my life.

I am going to talk it all out with her today, once and for all, I hope she understands how inexperienced I am at this, at commitments. I smiled to myself; this day was going to be just perfect!

Everything will finally be well again.

"The number you're trying to reach is currently busy, please try again lat-"

I smacked my phone down face first, looking outside the window, my hands gripping the edge of the window sill with enough pressure that my knuckles turned white. Why is Charlotte not picking up my calls?

The food is cold and long forgotten; I had to light the candles already, its pitch dark outside, the moon and the streetlights being my only source of light. I cannot believe it, she stood me up. She was discharged from her hospital at 9am; I am sure of it and Casey said she saw Charlotte going inside our dorm.

"She didn't show up." My voice wavered, my eyes going blurry as a tear splattered down on the sill; I cannot believe I am crying over her.

"Charlotte... look what you've fu*cking done to me." I yelled up at the sky, a steady stream of tears now cascading down my cheeks. As if on cue, a sudden shower of rain and ricochets of thunder started, my screams and punches against the dull walls being submerged under it.

I turned around, "I actually f*cking made a move! I finally caved in and you don't f*cking show up?" I screamed on the top of my lungs, walking to the table and seeing red. Turning the table upside down, the clatter and crashing of the utensils and the candles doing nothing to make me feel calmer, my breathing picked up, growing heavier as moments passed till I was wheezing with my fists clenched, seething with fury.

Charlotte doesn't want me.

The only person who still believed in me, the only person whose opinion I actually cared about, all gone.

She doesn't want to give me another chance, I don't mean anything to her anymore...

"I give up." Sliding against the wall, I sat down, my legs spread and bruised, swelling hands on my knees, I finally gave up on a chance of ever finding love.

I must've wept for hours, because when I finally took a deep breath and managed to walk up to my phone, it read 2am.

"Fuck this sh*t." I whispered, my voice broken down to a croak now, walking outside, watching Liam playing basketball with his mates. I combed back my hair and wiped away the tear tracks on my face.

"Hey Liam! Wanna come back to mine?" I yelled, and after some cat calling by his mates I couldn't care identifying, he smirked and jogged up to me.
