It was a normal day in National City. The vehicles rushing on the streets, people walking to their working places, sunbeams peeking through the windows of Kara's apartment.

Ringggggg!!!

The clock rang again and as usual, Kara did the first thing in her morning routine, crushing the poor clock with a tap and greeting its pieces with a yawn.
"Ahh, I guess I have to replace you," Kara paused, "Again." she said to the crushed clock before forming up a smile to greet the day.

She got ready for the day's work in a flash–literally. She also decided to let her wavy hair down, hoping that Snapper would quit calling her Ponytail.

She headed out the door and locked it behind her.

Yet, something was missing...

The people coming out of their doors had their eyes wide open, gazes striking through Kara as she walked down the hallway. Stuck in confusion, she saw a group of people, she saw past through them.

She was looking at walking skeletons, blue lined, showing internal organs and two eyeballs each.
How uncanny, she thought. They were all running toward her, almost chorusing "SUPERGIRL! " They stumbled and fell but they didn't care. All they knew was that they wanted Kara or Supergirl.

Kara thought her glasses weren't working properly. She reached for her nosebridge in attempt to push up her glasses.

But no...

She felt her bare nosebridge. She felt no sign of glasses on her face. She cussed. Shit.

She barelled through the enthusiastic crowd, rushing at human speed to reach her apartment door, she unlocked it and rushed inside, locking it and breathing heavily while leaning her back against the door.

She hurriedly put out her phone from her pocket and dialed a number.

The call picked up. "Alex." Kara sighed.

"Kara what is it?

"Come over, please." Kara said, with obvious problematic hints in the tone of her voice.

"Alright, just stay where you are. I'm on the way." Alex said before disconnecting the call.

The Kryptonian made her way to the mirror on the table, as she saw a blonde woman with blazing blue eyes, dressed in denim pants, topped off with a blue button up sweater, barefaced. Without glasses. What she saw was not Kara Danvers, nor was it Supergirl. What she saw was a mixture of her two personalities, something she had never seen before, something she always wanted to be, more easily described as 'Supergirl in civillan'.

Looking down on the table, she saw a pair of glasses, neatly folded, placed on a spot on the table.

"Here you are," Kara sighed as she put them on.

"Jesus Christ," Alex sighed.

Right hand on her forehead and the other holding a helmet, Alex walked briskly, reaching her Ducati.

She rode on it, put on the helmet as she put both hands on the handles. She pressed the gas, hearing the satisfying tone of the motor engine vrooming in her ears. When she turned the gas handle, one finger on the brake, she let go of the brake and sped off to Kara's apartment.

She shifted the gear, speeding faster and faster, avoiding possible accidents and seconds later, reached the condominium.

She got off the Ducati and jogged inside the condo and slowed down until she reached a noisy and aggressive mob.
