"Harper!" My brother yelled from downstairs. "What!?" I yelled back.
"Someone's at the door!" My brother yelled.
I sighed, then got up from my bed bringing my phone with me, then headed down stairs not bothering to tell him to open the door because It's pointless to argue with him because he always wins.
"Who is it?" I said after I opened the door not looking up from my phone.
"Hey" A voice said.
I froze
I'd recognise that voice anywhere, I immediately looked up from my phone.
I froze, AGAIN
There he was, standing there looking fucking handsome as ever.
"Sorry I didn't tell you I was coming" he sheepishly said, rubbing the back of his neck.
I just stood there with wide eyes, not responding to him.
He looked down at his feet "Um... Maybe I should leave, sorry for just coming here suddenly" he said, and started walking away.
"NO!" I screamed. He immediately looked back at me.
"I mean stay, you came here for something right?" I asked. He nodded "Actually, I wanted to talk to you" he said taking me aback.
The guy that is standing in front of me is Cody Bradley
my ex-boyfriend, well... not really my EX-boyfriend, we didn't really breakup, we just took a break from each other. things got really messed up between us so we decided to take a break since we didn't want our relationship to officially end, but it's been 2 months, I have no idea why he is here, I thought maybe it was over between us since it's been, as I said 2 months, maybe it is really over he just came here to make it clear to me, I mov-
"Harper?" Cody called out, snapping me out of my thoughts. "Sorry, What did you say?" I questioned.
"Can I maybe take you out somewhere, we could talk there, I mean we don't have to i-" he ranted.
Or not.
"Yea sure" I said cutting him off. "let me just change and then we can go" I said smiling at him.
He nodded "Okay" he smiled back at me.
I stepped aside to let him in.
"Feel at home" I said to him before walking up the stairs.
I went inside my bedroom and quickly change into a red polo croptop with black pants, and lastly my trusty white converse shoes, I quickly applied lip gloss, grabbed my bag and headed downstairs.
I saw Cody talking with my brother on the couch.
"I'm ready" I said, he and my brother immediately looked at me.
"Let's go?" he asked, getting up and grabbing his car keys.
"You better not do anything to my sister Bradley" my brother, Carson said,I rolled my eyes.
"Let's go" I said pushing Cody out the door, He walked out with me following closely behind. He opened the car door gesturing for me to get in into his black RAM.
Yep he's rich. just like my family his family also owns a company, but his family is richer than mine.
"Ladies first" he said in a british accent, I laughed at him, whilst he just smiled at me, after I got in he closed the door and ran to his side.
