Taylor POV
Letting out a large sigh of relief, i closed the door of the car. Finally i could sell all of this expensive shit i've been 'hoarding'.
I knew the place, it wasn't too far from here and it wasn't affiliated at all with those white goons so that's what mattered. I heard they paid well.
I pulled out of the forrest and moved onto the motorway, shimmering artefacts under a tarp in the backseats.
I grinned to myself. Things were actually going alright. I was getting closer to Red, no attacks, having fun, about to get a lot of money. Who wouldn't want that?
The only downside was that I had to get up at six in the morning to avoid the traffic. Oh well, once i get back i'm hopping straight back into bed.
I continued driving down the motorway before turning off-road again, going down a dirty path that led to a large red barn.
After parking, i hopped out of the car and headed towards it. Sure enough, my buyer was waiting right there, wearing an opera smiley face mask to conceal his identity.
"So do you just go by Andromeda in real life too?" I asked with a grin.
"Hell yeah, my name isn't important. What is important however is that do you have the stuff?" He chuckled.
"I wouldn't of came here if I hadn't bought them!" I exclaimed as i walked back over to the car and opening the backdoor.
I grabbed the first bag, carrying it over and surprised at how heavy it was. To show him they were real i took the tarp off the top to reveal the golden glint of several expensive items.
"Good!" He chuckled. "You'll be paid handsomely"
"Your welcome~" i replied, before turning back around to the car to get the second back only to pause.
"It appears we have an unwanted visitor" he stated.
Sure enough, there was someone rummaging through the second bag. They were dressed similarly to the person i killed at the train station all those months ago.
They didn't seem bothered by us. What the hell? What kind of idiot just does that? No stealth but no confrontation, do they expect us to just let them have it??
"Hey!!" I called out at them only for them to spin around in surprise. "Put the fucking bag down!"
In response to this, the stranger simply picked up the bag and began running away. What the hell??
"Hey!!!" I shouted, chasing them quickly and pulling out my gun, firing three shots their way.
Surprisingly, all shots hit, piercing their armour. Two drilled into their back and another into the back of their head. They instantly collapsed onto the ground.
Me and my buyer shared a look at eachother and ran up to the now dead thief. Kicking them a few times for reassurance before picking up the bag.
"Well that was strange..." said Andromeda.
"Yeah... i guess we both better go" i replied, sighing while handing him the second bag.
He put a hand on my shoulder. "You'll get paid soon!"
After a little more talk we split apart, me getting back into my vehicle and driving off.
I groaned in frustration at how the early morning mist was forming, forcing me to drive slow so i could get home safely.
I relaxed a little back into my seat. It felt good of being rid of all of that shit. That no-one could take it now even though someone almost did just about ten minutes ago.
