The Gems and Alex walk towards the direction of the Beach House

"I don't think they are earthquakes, they're too frequent!" Pearl says.

Alex looks at the Gems with a sad and curious look on her face.

"Are you okay, Alex?" Garnet asks her suddenly.

"Huh? Yeah...I am fine," Alex answers looking away.

"You sure? You are very quiet, and you look.... sad?" Pearls questions as she kneels in front of Alex and examines her face with worry written all over her own.

"Y-Yeah....like I said...P-P-Pearl I'm fine," Alex pushes Pearls hands of her face and takes a step back.

"Hey look! Steven's got a bike," Alex tries to avoid the Gems.

"Where ya goin, Steven?" Amethyst asks Steven as he stands in front of them with his bike.

"Just out for a ride," Steven answers.

"In the sand?" Pearl asks.

"Yup!" Steven says and he rides his bike along the beach...or at least he tries to.

"So, back to my question...What's wrong, Alex?" Pearl asks her again with her arms crossed.

"N-Nothing!" Alex says way too quickly, and she avoids Pearls eyes.

"Let's go home!" She says as she walks faster towards the Beach house.

Later in the Beach House

Alex sits on the couch with her arms crossed.

The Gems exchange worried looks and then look back at Alex.

"Are you sure you're okay, Al?" Amethyst asks her.

"Yeah..." Alex says as she tenses up a little. „I was just wondering.... where are my parents?"

The Gems look at each other nervously.

"You told me that you would tell me how you found me.... and about my parents... but you never did..." Alex looks at them.

"Alex...we did tell you that and we will....But we don't think you're ready for it yet..." Garnet says calmly.

"But..." Before Alex can say anything Steven bursts through the door.

"Whaddup'?" Steven acts casual.

"Who were you talking to?" Pearl asks him.

Right...he was talking to some girl on the Beach. Alex think before looking slightly angry at the Gems.

"Huh?" Steven acts confused.

"That girl," Garnet points at her.

Alex crosses her arms. They are avoiding the questions.

"You saw?" Steven asks blushing.

Normally Alex would have teased him slightly...but now she is way too busy trying to analyse the Gems behaviour.

They all were really nervous when I asked them about my parents...What are they soo worried about? She thinks almost completely ignoring what's going on in the room.
