I woke up and looked over at my charging phone on the nightstand. Constant dings and vibrations came out of it.
I looked at all the notifications.
Gaten Matarazzo out with a girl how does Maggie Alberta feel about this?!
I looked at the picture and felt my blood boil. You wanna play it that game!
I got up and got in the shower washed my hair shaved my legs.
I finished showering and dried my hair. I straightened my hair and then put on some makeup then put on a dress.
"Damn Maggie look at you!" I said to myself in the mirror. I looked amazing.
I then walked downstairs and pulled out my phone. I clicked on my contacts and looked for his name.
You never took his number you idiot!
I was trying to find the boy I had to walk home. He was super cute so I thought maybe we should go to some restaurant.
I walked through the neighborhood and too his house.
I knocked on the door and he answered. His lips turned into a smile.
"Maggie!" He said giving me a hug.
This is a little awkward.
"Hey I don't think I got your name." I said to him.
"Oh it's Kyle!" He said excitedly.
"You wanna go out?" I asked.
"Sure that sounds like a lot of fun!" He said and grabbed his phone and we walked out.
There was a little coffee shop a few blocks down.
"Oh sorry there is some paparazzi" I said looking at all of the camera flashing.
Just how I wanted it!
We walked into the coffee shop.
We went and sat by the booth making sure it's by the windows.
"So you moved here when?" I asked Kyle.
"It's been close to a year"
"Oh that's really fun" I said awkwardly.
Gaten and I were never that awkward I mean don't get me wrong it was awkward at times.
The waitress came and put muffins down in front of us.
"Oh thank you that was really sweet!" I said as we didn't order it.
"Don't worry about it!"
I ate my muffin as Kyle just looked at me.
"Maggie I saw the article about Gaten" Kyle said looking at me.
"Oh please like I care about that" I said waving my hand making it look like no big deal.
"I know you like him still and that's okay but there's something I need to tell you before you start going crazy trying to kiss me" Kyle said.
"What?" I asked
"I'm gay" Kyle said in sort of a whispered voice.
"Oh" I said not expecting that.
My face heated up.
"Yeah I just thought I should tell you before anything happens" Kyle said.
"Well it obviously doesn't mean we still can't be friends!" I said smiling.
"Well if I was you I think I would just become friends again with Gaten and only friends unless he makes a move!" Kyle said.
"It's just gonna be extremely awkward though" I said and then took a huge bite of my muffin.
"Yeah but you just have to get pass the awkward and get to the friendship!" Kyle said.
He was right...
"Thank you Kyle for knocking some sense into me!" I said.
"Of course anytime!"
"Hey you wanna take a picture?" I asked.
"Sure why not" Kyle said.
