Shakira's POV
I was really mad about what my dad did. Everyone was in three different coach buses. My friends, my family, Jayson's family, and a few others were on our bus. I was sitting next to Jayson. He told me everything that happened, and I was really mad. Like... Mad to the extent where I wanted to hurt someone.
"My dad doesn't know about any of our kisses, though." Jayson says.
"Thank God. If my dad found out, I'd be DEAD." I said, as I look out the window. Jayson chuckles, and looks at the ground. Suddenly, his phone vibrates. There's a message.
"You just text me?" He asks me. I look at his phone.
"No." I take my phone out from my pocket, and look through my messages with Jayson.
"Awe, you added a heart to my name." He smiles at me. I blush, and then smile back at him.
"What'd that person text you?" I ask. He unlocks his phone, and looks at the message.
"hey jay-bae. its tracey ;) i was wondering if you wanted to idk... come over tonight? me and the girls wanted to have a little fun." He reads aloud. He looks at me, and we both roll our eyes. "Blocked." He blocks her number, and we both laugh. I look over at my dad while laughing, and he was glaring at Jayson. I mouthed the words 'please stop, daddy.' He sighed, and turned around.
"She really needs to leave you alone." I say. "Obsessing over some bad basketball player." I giggle. "Speaking of basketball... next week there's a basketball game at the hotel. Everyone from the church can participate."
"Good thing I brought my basketball sneaks." He winks at me.
"You still suck." I say. He rolls his eyes.
"You're just mad." He says.
"Yeah, okay." I smile. There was a brief silence. To cut through it, I started playing with Jayson's curls. "You think I'd get in trouble for playing with your hair?"
"Probably." He chuckles. He wraps his arm around me again, pulling him closer to me. I let go of his curly hair, and I sat back on the chair, while he held me close to him. God, I loved when these moments happened. I could just cuddle with him forever. He pulled his phone out with his other hand, and opened snap. He took a picture of us, and showed it to me.
"Don't send it to anyone, Jayson!" I say, while grabbing his phone. I send it to me, save it to his camera roll, and then delete it.
"Bro, I got mad messages." He says, scrolling through his snap. "Mad girls stay in my DM's. Look." He opens one chat. "A text from a girl from my old school."
"Hey, Jayson, sexy baby. I wanted to start talking to u. You're hot asf, and I want you to have my babies." I try hard not to laugh, and we both bust out laughing.
"She's really weird, so she really should stay out my DM's." He says, while responding with a crying emoji. "Has any other guy liked you?"
"Yeah. A lot." I say. "I was never allowed to date them, though. I liked them, but once they found out, they stopped hanging out with me."
"Oh." Jayson says, as he pulls me a bit closer. "How come those girls don't like you?"
"Honestly," I start. "I have no idea. They just hate me for some weird reason."
"I don't hate you." Jayson says. I look up at him.
"Yeah, I know you don't." I say. He chuckles. "Jay, you're really sweet, you know that right?" He runs his fingers through my hair.
