7:55 PM

I finally arrived at the pool. I didn't see Jayson yet, so I walked over to one of the pool chairs, and sat down. I pulled out my phone, and went to text Marcus, Javier, and Tiffany in our church group chat. I told them to come to the pool before my dad comes and stops me. They all said they'd come, and I was relieved. It's not really a lie anymore, since they'll actually be showing up. I looked around, and saw a bunch of people swimming. There were little kids in the kiddie pool, adults and teenagers in the deep end, and couples in one of the hot tubs. A few minutes later, the door opened. I looked to see if it was Jayson, and it wasn't. It was Javier, Tiffany, and Marcus. They all came over to me, and sat in chairs next to me.

"You told your dad we were coming so you could see that boy, right?" Tiffany asks.

"Yup, but I'll still hang out with you guys." I say. I look up at the balcony. "See!" They all look up, and wave to my dad.

"I'M WATCHING!" He says. I roll my eyes. I look at the door again, and Jayson walked in. His sister Serenity followed him. Suddenly, I felt everything stop. It was like... Slow motion. My eyes were glued to Jayson. He didn't have a shirt on, and only had on swim trunks. His brown skin was beautiful. He had a six pack, and was muscular from basketball. He shook his head, letting his curls fly. A moment later, everything went back to normal. He looked at me, and smiled.

"Is that him?" Javier asked.

"Y-Yup." I say, as I run my finger through my curly hair.

"He's cute." Tiffany says.

"Really, Tiff." Marcus says. We all knew they were secretly talking, but they thought they could keep it a secret.

"Is anyone else here?" Javier asks.

"Yeah. They're at the water park area." Tiffany says. "You wanna leave Shak and her little friend alone?"

"Bet."

"Wait I-?" Marcus, Tiffany, and Javier all get up, and walk over to all the other church members my age. Jayson's sister walked over to my sister who came with me. I waved at Jayson, and he saw me. He walked over to me, and sat in the pool chair next to me.

"Hey." He says. He runs his finger through his curly hair.

"H-Hi." I say, while rubbing my arm. He put his towel on the chair, and his shirt on it.

"How come you're not in the pool?" He asks. I point up at the balcony. My dad was staring at Jayson.

"Waiting till he leaves." I say. Finally, his phone rings, and he goes into the hotel room.

"I'ma get in." He takes his slides off, and stands up. I take mine off, and also stand up. I walk with him near the deep end. I stood in front of the pool, not going in.

"Is it cold?" I ask.

"Only one way to find out." He says. I quickly step from in front of him.

"Do NOT push me." I say sternly. He smirks.

"Alright, alright." He says. He starts walking away slowly, but then in one quick motion, he wraps his arms around me, and pushes me into the pool. I don't know how the heck he did that, but I was mad.

"What the heck, Jayson?" I said, trying to tread in the water. He laughed.

"Watch out." He walked all the way back to the chairs, and ran up to the pool, doing a cannon ball. He jumped in, and splashed me.

"You fucking bitch!" I shouted at him. He came up from the water, and stood in front of me with a smile on his face.

"Oh shit." He said, covering his mouth. "The good girl swore!" He chuckles.

"You fucking splashed me!" I say.

"I'll splash you again." He smirks, and starts splashing me with the water. I tried splashing him back, but so much water was in my eyes. I tried swimming away, but he quickly stopped me by wrapping his arms around my stomach, and holding me close to him.

"Let go, Jay." I say, as I blushed hard.

"Nah. This is fun." He says, as he plays with my hair. I roll my eyes, and push away from him. "Awe." He pouts. I swam over to the pool ladder, and got out of the pool.

"I'm going in the hot tub." I say, as I walked over to it. Jayson followed me, and we looked for one that was empty. There was one that lead into the inside pool, so my dad couldn't see us.

"Let's go here." He says. I nod, and we walk over to it. I stepped in, and sighed. It was the perfect temperature. We swam under a curtain thing, and we ended up on the side of the indoor pool. Not a lot of people were inside. It was a few teen couples and young adult couples. We sat together on the ledge on the hot tub, and I just looked into his chocolate brown eyes.

I love him. "I love your eyes." I say. He chuckles.

"Am I supposed to say thanks? That's a peculiar compliment." He turns fully to face me, and looks into my eyes. I brushed my hair behind my ear, and smiled at him.

"Just accept my compliment, Jay." I said, as I rolled my eyes. He chuckled again. There was an awkward silence.

"You know..." He said, as he rubbed his neck. "Ever since I saw you last week, I knew you'd be the one."

"What does that mean?" I ask him, as he scooted a bit closer to me.

"You're perfect. You're an amazing and intelligent young woman, an awesome person, and you're mad cute." He says.

"So I have value?" I say. His cheeks turn red.

"Wh-What?" He asks.

"Just kidding." I say. "But that's how you feel about me?"

"Yeah." He says, as he rubs the back of his neck. He was directly in front of me now, and I couldn't stop staring at his lips. He licked them, and smiled at me.

"I-?" Before I could say anything, he kissed me. It only lasted a few seconds. It was amazing. My first kiss. With Jayson. I wanted more. He must've known what I was thinking, so he kissed me again. It was longer, and he had slipped his tongue inside my mouth. It was called making out. We continued kissing for a really long time, and I loved it. Especially since my dad wasn't there. He finally pulled away, and I was blushing hard.

"That... That was amazing." He said, running his fingers through his wet hair.

"Y-Yeah..." I say. We were staring into each other's eyes, and I knew what I wanted.

Him.
