Friday, At The Airport

"This trip is a week and a half long. I don't want any fussing, complaining, or whatsoever. Y'all hear me?" My dad says.

"Yessir." We all say in harmony.

"And Shak, remember what I said." My father says. I nod. We finally pull up at the airport, and we all meet up at the boarding area. All the other families who were coming on the trip were there, too. I saw Jayson and his entire family, and he walked up to me.

"You ready for the flight?" He asks me.

"Um, of course. It's gonna be like seven hours." I say.

"That's not long at all. I've flown out the country plenty of times." Jayson says. "In first class." He brags.

"You trynna say you're better than me cause you've flown first class? Puh-lease." I say.

"Says the girl in fucking loafers, while wearing a gray track suit." He says.

"Says the guy wearing a pink sweatshirt and pink shorts." I say, with a smirk.

"Look, it's comfortable and I didn't have anything else to wear." He says. I giggle.

"Mhm." I say. A second later, our flight says it boarding.

"You wanna sit next to me?" He asks me. I blush.

"Sure..." I say, while smiling. "Let's hope you don't get beat for sitting with me."

"I'm not afraid of your old man." Jayson says.

On The Airplane

We finally boarded the airplane, and found our seats. My dad paid for first class for our family, but we sat in different rows. Jayson's mom offered to sit with my mom, so I could sit with him. We got to our seats, and I sat near the window while Jayson sat next to me and another older woman.

"What movie should I watch?" He asks. "I was thinking a Marvel movie. Sum like that."

"Sounds fun." I say. After a couple of minutes, the safety announcements came on. After they did, our plane was getting ready to depart. I put my left hand on the arm rest. Jayson looked at me, and then my hand. The plane started going down the runway, and he slowly moved his hand. It hovered over mine, and then he finally held mine. Our fingers interlocked, and I was blushing like crazy. As we took off, I looked into his eyes, and he looked into mine. He smiled, showing his deep dimples and braces. It was so cute when he smiled. I smiled back, and then turned to face the window, while still holding his hand.

Two Hours Later...

"You've never seen Uncle Drew?" Jayson said to me.

"Nope." I said.

"Shaki, its the funniest movie in the world." He said, while looking into my eyes. Did he just call me Shaki?

"Is it available?" I ask him. He looks for it in the movie search thing.

"Yup." He says. "I have a dual headphone connector, so we can watch it together. It's hella funny." Shaki is such a cute name.

"Ooh, alright." I say. He plugs in the connector thing, and we both put our headphone wires inside the headphone jack. He played the movie, and we got began to watch it together.

Sixty Minutes Later...

"Tiffany Haddish is so funny." I say, as we laugh at one of the scenes.

"I know, right?" He says. A second later, he yawns. he stretched one of his arms up, and wrapped it around me. I blushed, and I looked at him. I smiled, and he smiled at me. I looked to my left, and my dad was staring at us. When I looked at him, he mouthed the words 'tell that boy to move his arm!' I smiled, and sat back. I liked how Jayson was making his moves on me. They were subtle, but cute.
