Chapter 2

Chapter 2 Travel to Bale

Dart and Shana once again are getting ready to leave Seles. Albert was waiting for them in the den downstairs. Dart came down and sat beside Albert. "So how is Lavitz mother doing Albert? Have you visited her lately," asked Dart. "Yes I have visited her and she misses Lavitz coming home after a mission but with me coming over every once in a while it helps her get through the day. She is relieved every time I visit with me being her son's closest friend," said Albert.

"That's good I'm glad you are keeping in touch with Lavitz's mother," said Dart. Shana was coming downstairs as we were talking. Serdio was not the only country feeling the presents. Meanwhile, Haschel and Kongol in the village of Rogue also felt something was wrong. "Did you feel that Kongol," said Haschel. Kongol looked at the see then back a Haschel. "Yes, Kongol feels bloodshed," said Kongol. As they were looking at the see one of the villagers came and gave Haschel a letter. "Message for Master Haschel. It's from King Albert," said the messenger. "Albert, wonder what this could be," said Haschel. He opened the letter and started reading.

"Dear Haschel and Kongol,

It has come to my attention that something or someone is attacking villages and could be a threat to us all. I need you and Kongol to report to Bale in Serdio immediately. -Albert."

Haschel could not believe what he had just read. This could not have com at the worst time. "Well seems like we are needed again Kongol. Let's head back to Bale," said Haschel. Kongol nodded and followed Haschel out of Rogue to head to Bale.

Meanwhile in the Crystal Palace, Miranda now part of the Royal Guard, also got a message from Albert, from one of her squires who came to her with the message. "Lady Miranda, we have an urgent message from King Albert," said the squire. "King Albert let me see that," said Miranda. She read the message. She went straight to the queen afterward.

"Queen Theresa I've got urgent news from King Albert of Bale. It seems we have a new threat," said Miranda as she gives the message to the Queen. "Hm, it will appear so and looks as he is summoning you," said the Queen. She looked at Miranda and said "Go to Bale and find out what this new threat is Miranda." "As you wish my queen," said Miranda. Miranda was always her demanding self but since the Melbu Frahma crisis with Dart and the others. She has got a lot better since then, and seen as a hero to the people of Deningrad. Miranda gathered her bow and gear to head to Bale.

Meanwhile, Meru now twenty years old, still as cheerful as ever, was with her husband now Guaraha when she got a letter from Albert. "Guaraha looks like my friend Albert needs me to come to his palace," said Meru. Guaraha took the not that she got. "Yea and it seems to be urgent. Looks like he has summoned all the dragoons to Bale," said Guaraha. Meru got wide eyed when he said that. "Wait all the dragoons like Drat and the others," said Meru. "Looks like it. Must be a great threat if he is calling on the dragoons again," said Guaraha.

Meru was getting excited. She had not seen the other in four years. "Do you think I should go? I mean I don't want to just leave you," said Meru. Guaraha was surprised to hear her say that. "What's with you huh? You use to jump at the opportunity for an adventure," he said. "Yeah but that was before marrying ya' silly. Its different now. I made a commitment to you and want to make sure you are okay with it," said Meru. "What I think is if there is a new threat to us that you should go," said Guaraha. "You are a dragoon as well as a wingly. A hero of that. You helped save the world before. Go do it again. Just promise me you will come back to me," Guaraha said with a smile on his face. Meru looked at him and said "I promise." She hugged him and set off to Bale to meet with the others. What was this new threat and how were the dragoons going to face this threat? Time would tell who or what this was. Also, who would become the new Dark Dragoon now that Rose is gone, and what about the Red-Eyed Dragoon? Who will hardness these two spirits next since Dart had the Divine Dragoon spirit now? That remains to be seen.

As the others gather to Bale, under the once Divine Tree still lies the Red-Eyed and Dark Dragoons. Suddenly, two mysterious figures show up. As they do both Dragoon spirits glow. One of the figures resembled a male the other a female. They were both wearing hood to hide their identity. The Red-Eyed Dragoon was glowing bright re as the male approached. The Dark Dragoon was glowing bright purple as the female approached. Could these be the new masters of the Dragoon spirits or enemies of the current dragoons? Only time will tell if they are friend or foe.
