Everyone of Alison's 'crew,' was different. Different from the infamous Allison. Allison was a gorgeous girl, with beautiful, long, naturally curled hair and piercing blue eyes that could see through your soul, see your secrets. She was perfectly tanned and perfectly shaped, skinny. She was an average height, but knew how to stand her ground. She was fearless and ruthless. She knew everything about anyone and wasn't scared of using it against anyone. She practically ruled Rosewood and loved drama. She had a girly girl style, wearing the latest trends and starting trends. Lastly, she had a group, a group of very opposite people that she brought together. She was a DiLaurentis.

First there was Spencer. She had brunette hair that was in a ponytail let down and brown eyes. Spencer was, without a doubt, one of the smartest people in the school, having straight A's. She knew everything, not including Alison's knowledge of secrets and loved figuring out problems and making observations. She had a thirst for knowledge and couldn't get enough. She was president/leader of just about every club in school and was just as fearless as Alison. She wasn't afraid of confrontation, making her the only person that could really stand up to Alison. She loved competition and being the best, a little full of herself sometimes and overthinks things at times. But definitely a loyal friend that could give you the best advice. She had a nerdy style, always looking professional, like she wore her mother's clothes. She was a Hastings.

Then there was Emily. Emily had long, straight black hair and kind, welcoming dark eyes. Kind of like Panda bear eyes, innocent. She had olive skin and was rather tall. Emily was one of the sweetest people. She saw the good in everyone, even people that Alison bad mouthed and hated. Sometimes you wonder what a sweet girl like her is doing with Alison. But we all love her. She had a knack for swimming and was on the swimming team in Rosewood High, the Sharks. She was a great listener in the group and avoided/hated trouble. She was like the voice of a conscious, trying to make sure nobody did anything bad to anyone. Unfortunately, things didn't exactly go that way. (The Jenna Thing). She had a tomboy but stylish sense of style, sometimes alternating between trends and casual outfits. She was a Fields.

Then, there was Hanna. Hanna was a beautiful girl, despite what she and Alison thought. She had long blonde hair, hair resembling Alison's, but was less curly than Alison's. People often compared Hanna to Allison, but nobody could outshine Alison DiLaurentis. They had some similarities. They both had piercing blue eyes and a nice complexion. Only difference was, Hanna was... a little chunky. After her parents divorced, she tended to eat away her feelings. We worried about her, but didn't exactly know how to get her to stop. Alison wasn't that comforting, she would make little jokes/side comments about Hanna's weight. I felt bad at times, I think everyone did. But I guess we thought that Alison was helping her, that she was just concerned about her health. Hanna overall was a nice girl. Sadly, she lacked self confidence and often put herself down as well. She was soft spoken and went along with the flow, shy with the group. She often tried to follow Alison. She tried to copy her style and personality. She was a Martin.

Lastly, there was me. I always felt like the oddball out. Granted, all of us were different. But I felt the most different. I had medium length, dark wavy brown hair, but unlike the others, I had pink streaks in my hair and a pale ivory complexion. I had round hazel eyes. I lived in my own world, not noticed as much most of the times. I sometimes felt detached from the group because of this. II consider myself to be artistic and imaginative. I was the writer of the group, I loved writing and wrote in a journal often. I had a rather edgy personality, closed off at times. I tended to speak my mind most of the time. It matched my sense of style, somewhat gothic and edgy and definitely eccentric at times. I'm a Montgomery.

Everyone was noticed in Alison's group though, even if I sometimes felt like I wasn't, because as long as we stood by her, we looked good. We were like backup dancers to a pop star, in this case, the pop star being Alison. A pop star looked good, but a pop star looked better with the backup dancers. We made Alison look good, but we also got to look good ourselves. It was like a contract we signed when we became friends with her.

Alison knew everything about anyone. Nobody knew how, but she did. She was a bad influence at times.

She knew about the affair between my dad and a student of his. She wanted me to tell... I still haven't. She said it's for my mothers own good, but all I could think is how the affair could destroy my family.

But that wasn't the worst secret she knew. She knew something else, something big.

She knew about my secret... with her brother, Jason DiLaurentis.
