Chapter 9- A Trial Of Endurance

----------Bang's Pov----------

He heard from Fang that you and Garou we're staying at his dojo. He heard of the trial the two of you were planning. And immediately headed to his younger brother's dojo. When he saw you he froze and said "it's you again, N/A... Your the one dating my best disciple before he left!? I knew something was going on with you two!" He chuckled and smacked your back as you two were eating. You ended up choking, Either from the surprise of seeing him or him smacking you on the back. Garou put a hand on your shoulder, but you smacked your chest, and breathed in, and out, then smacked it again. You managed to get back to normal after that, but the smack sounded almost brutal. Bang flinched and looked at you "sorry!" He said. Silver gave him a knowing look and stood up. "Bang is here today, N/A, your whole Martial Arts class, as well as the other's who partook in it disappeared. So today, and for the rest of your stay, we will put you through a trial for you to prove that the studio is a good quality studio!" Your eyes widened and you said quietly "it wasn't... But I ain't going to let you down. I'll even try to copy my studios technique from what I saw from the adult class when I stayed over." You got off the mat, your eyes sharp. Bang smiled "I like a young lady who's got brains and priorities straight! You truly honor Garou and us. Let us start with a test of endurance, we'll let you in a room by yourself for an hour and you will try to remember your Martial Arts Studio's top technique!"

----------Garou's Pov----------

He noticed as you gripped onto his hand unintentionally, he looked at your face full of worry "N/A?" Garou spoke softly, you quickly turned to him "oh, sorry! It's fine!" Bang asked "what's fine?" You said "there's a reason I never fitted in the group, was the most hated student by my teacher, and rebelled. The technique was the complete opposite of my own... You will see soon enough why I use my own style!" You laughed off the ominous sound of your voice, and went guided into the room you were shown into. Garou watched as the door closed, obviously filled with many emotions all at once about your personality changing for a second. 'What was with her voice... N/A are you hiding something?" Charanko said "she's very nice Mr. Bang-sama, but her last words sounded so lonely, and aggrivated... I barely recognized it under her tough charade." Silver asked "ohh, really now? And how could you tell?" Charanko said "she looked at the ground while you all looked at each other." Bang said "oh, so she's good at hiding things, huh?" Garou said "yeah... You'd be surprised, almost as good as I am at fighting!" Charanko smack talked him "that ain't saying nothing you brute!" Garou ignored him. They waited, and did some exercises while she tried to follow the technique to the Deathening Slice.

----------N/A's Pov----------

 She managed to get it down pat on the first few tries, the bag had flew off it's hinges, but before that, the bag was crushed in. Your aura was menacing, unlike the opposite with your own technique. You hated it, hated yourself for practicing Deathening Slice. A few memories came washing over your mind, there was a guy in the older Kids division that was a good friend to you, but after leaving, you'd never seen him again. He was the only person you'd talk to in the dojo, besides smart talking your Sensei. You felt dread of the past as it started pushing through your mind the whole time, you tried to calm it. "Ugh, get out! Get out! Get out! Get out of my mind! I ain't going to use you again! No, your never going to consume me! Get out of my mind!" You were talking about the evil technique, trying to consume your mind to hatred by bringing up angering memories. It's like it had a mind of its own, the door opened and Bang asked "who are you talking to?" You said quietly, unlike yourself "myself. Let's go now." You didn't try to hide your tired mood, your injury already healed. Garou said nothing, just stared at you, you stared back at him, a flood of painful emotions tried to weigh down on you as you stared into his solemn, sad eyes. You quickly turned your head and bit your lip "let's go... I need to get this done fast..." The brothers were confused, but didn't press you any longer. You had a hold of your head, as it throbbed. Garou looked at you and asked "what are you hiding?" You said "I will tell you in private, right now I'm trying to save myself..." He looked even more confused so you hugged him with one arm and went into a giant room. Bang got a ball and said "you will stay still, and if you pass out, you've failed! Okay, now, we will use balls for the first part, then attacks. You can knock them away, Charanko and the machine will shoot them at you as well! Then we will start with attacks! Got it!" You nodded, obviously in a daze. The brutal trial began. 

----------Everyone's Pov----------

You stood their and unleashed the aura to everyone's surprise and got into a offensive stance. They all were now understanding why you didn't want to use it. You said "aren't you guys going to test me?" They did, but every ball sent to her was sent away through your aura, not even reaching your armspan. Charanko thought 'she's a murderer! This is the aura of a murderer! Is this what she was taught!?' It was no use, you were barely trying and looked bored, but also stressed "please hurry this up, my sanity is waning." They attacked you, but you dodged all the attacks. You caught their hands, panting all of a sudden "good God, it's consuming me!" You ran to a trashcan and threw up. No one knew what was going on, your aura immediately turned off "now I know why some people went crazy in the dojo!" You sobbed, holding your pulsating head. Silver went over "what are you talking about?" You turned it on "just follow me and what I do for a second!" You said harshly, he did and instantly turned it off. You threw up again "ugh... I never want to do this again! But it looks like I'm going to have to Heheh!" You laughed uncontrollably, almost crying and smacked yourself right in the cheek and turned normal. Garou immediately grabbed you "what is up with you?! Your creeping me out N/A!" You said "it's the technique.... Deathening Slice.. It's alive, and drives you insane through using it for so long. This was what I was going to tell you alone... I couldn't make it through, though!" You were beating yourself up, Garou was getting worried "you shouldn't have accepted! This is making you weaker!" You said quietly "I didn't know it was what drives the grown ups insane, but after copying what they did... It's... It's!" You were about to cry, Silver said "it's okay, you didn't fail the test, I understand now. We will leave you two alone for a few minutes, why don't you show N/A around?" Garou looked over to a happier N/A and nodded "sure,  nothing has changed right?" Charanko shook his head and the three left. 

----------Garou's Pov----------

He grabbed her abruptly after they left and hugged the girl who was shaking. You looked up at him, to see his bright smile, and immediately felt better. You hugged him silently, feeling each other's pulses. Your's calmed as he held you. After You finally relaxed, he let go and took you everywhere while holding your hand. You noticed the place was a lot larger than it looked. He smirked as you were in awe "oh, so you like the garden?" You nodded "it's beautiful!" And looked at him and smiled, picking up a wild Daisy and held it up to him "especially the wild Daisy, now that I see it up close! All wild flowers have natural beauty..." He blushed, noticing the white pedals like his white hair, and the yellow middle, just like his golden orbs. And pulls close to you, and kisses you on the lips. You could feel the compassion and sweetness in the kiss and instantly your worries were soothed as your heart fluttered. Your eyes were wide open, staring at his, this time both of you hadn't closed your eyes. The heat flared up when you two made eye contact, and you cupped his face in your small hands. He had to bend over to kiss you, clapping his hands over yours, he pulled away. You smiled and said cheerfully "I love you! I love you, you big Oaf, Garou!" He smiled "I love you too, Sunshine. Even if you are full of surprises. So please don't die while doing this!" You nodded "I'll do like you always do, break the limits. Just like how you sometimes test mine." He laughed heartily, and looked down at you "same here." He said huskily, you flung your head back and laughed "okay you hunk! I get the point!" Garou asked "oh, so I'm a hunk, I'll take that as a compliment!" He kissed you again, you blushed and pushed away. Flustered you said "you jerk! You did that just to mess with me!" Bang came over in a happy mood "you two must be some real lovebirds! Can't hardly contain it for a day! Heheh, young love, I remember my first girlfriend!" You two both turned red. But You just had to ask "who is she?" He looked at you "curious, eh?"
