Chapter 10-Kept Apart

----------Garou's Pov----------

He sat up awake most of the night, not used to sleeping without your cuddling him. He sighed, thinking 'you make me so damn soft! If you heard this, you would make fun of me for the rest of your life!... Wonder how N/A is doing...' His mind drifted off to you and he fell asleep.

----------N/A's Pov----------

You quietly ceased your mind from torturing you with questions and thoughts. You hugged the pillow, trying to picture it as Garou, but had some really bad dreams as the cold pillow only heated up to your touch.

-In the morning-

You woke up really early. And decided to get out of the room and out into the cold air. You hugged yourself and rubbed up and down on your arms. Getting used to the unnaturally cold air here. Charanko stopped "Miss, your already awake and up? Oh, are you cold?" You nodded and looked at the boy "yeah, a little!" You said as cheerfully as you could. He said "this is what made many people run out of our dojo, usually almost freezing to death... Your really tuff Missie." You laughed, but it broke off as you continued to rub you arms. You two watched the beautiful scenery of the sun rising off the mountains. Your eyes held a twinkle, Garou came over and put an arm around you "hello Sunshine, how did you sleep?" You said "it was really cold so I decided to act like a bear and hibernate." He laughed, Charanko cracked out a chuckle. Charanko said "your girlfriend is pretty tough Garou, but I think you should probably atleast try and warm her up!" He got up and walked away. You watched him leave down the wooden floor and through a sliding door. Garou said "oh, so you need warmth huh?" You hugged him shivering, your body was really cold. "Yeah, females heartbeats are slower and don't reach the peak you guys do while exercising. So we get cold easily..." You laid there in his arms, finally warming up a bit.

----------Garou's Pov----------

He felt your body over him. He had been used to the cold after training here for years. But your body was as cold as he remembered his being, he held you close to him, one hand on the back of your head while the other on the bottom of your back. You seemed to readjust quickly. She said quietly "now ai know why you burn me up at the house, hehehe!" He smirked "oh, now do I? You better be grateful I do right now!" You smiled and hugged him "you better be glad I freeze you, because right now you are burning up!" You stuck out your tounge at him, he poked you in the side you laughed. Being ticklish and all. You were in his lap, looking at the scenery. He asked "this never get's old to you?" You shook your head "I love sunrises, and I love scenery, it's like a wonderland! You just get bored of anything after skimming the surface, Mr. Hero Hunter!" You leaned back to look at him, he said "I haven't gotten bored of you." He said as a remark, you smiled "that's because you haven't figured out all of me yet! I'm honestly afraid of showing you all of me because you might leave..." He huffed "now why would I do that to you, your my strength, and my weaknesses." Your eyes widened "y-you think so... I... Am about to cry!" He froze "what, why!? Are you okay, is this your part of the month *coughs*..." You shook your head "no, but I'm really happy! I can't help it..." You had tears in your eyes. Garou groaned "I thought you would never let this go... But... Okay, okay, Sunshine calm down." You hugged him tight and said "never! I'm too happy!" Refusing to let go, despite some struggle from him. He had an annoyed look on his face, but you kissed him and he smiled "fine, you got me Princess." Fang came outside and choked at how close they were. He watched in the dark. Bang came out with a yawn, and Fang pulled him into the hiding place. N/A and Garou laughed, after a sassy comment from Garou. Your phone rang and you picked it up, and answered, not moving from Garou's lap.

----------N/A's Pov----------

You answered the call and immediately the warmth disappeared. It was a voice that sounded like your Father "DAD!?" He said in a cracked voice "I'm... Sorry... Your Mother made me fake my death for your sake! I know it's too late, but let me say something. I love you, even though you won't be able to meet me ever again, I am resting right now on the edge of death's bed... You will figure out soon why I died my little Monster Princess!" It ended as the sound dropped. You'd froze, then laughed "this has got to be a prank call! But how did they know my father's voice!?... And he was always calling me a little Monster Princess..." All of a sudden a wave of dread sweeped through as you felt a pulse in your head stop. Your eyes were dull "so it... Was him, Garou..." Garou hugged you softly "what?" You mumbled "don't leave me like he did... Please." He smiled gently "I promise." You laid your head on his chest, and sighed, content with the answer he had given you. Soon you two got up, and you caught the two onlookers "Silver Fang!? Bang!?" Fang looked at you "N/A. I have something to tell you." He dragged you off.
